The fourth annual Art of Cool Fest is getting a little more star power. Fest organizers have announced that poet, activist, and hip-hop impresario Common will be performing during the festival’s second day at Durham Performing Arts Center. Art of Cool was already on track to be one of the tightest festivals of 2017, with a lineup boasting George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, as well as a slew of other jazz, hip-hop, and alt-soul talents. The Fest is from April 28th to 30th, and tickets are on sale now. Tickets for Common’s DPAC performance will be sold separately here starting at noon on Friday.
