After this weekend (Friday 4th/Saturday 5th October), the Friday and Saturday late night journeys on routes 144 and X40 will no longer run to and from Reading. Late night journeys will continue to operate on route X40 between Oxford and Wallingford.
Last buses to and from Reading on Monday-Saturday nights will be:

20.35 Arborfield Garrison - Reading
21.05 Reading - Arborfield Garrison
Route X40:
- 21.20 Oxford to Reading
- 22.20 Reading to Oxford; 23.20 Reading to Wallingford (extended to Oxford on Friday & Saturday nights)
