Win Big with a Mini Visa-Caltex Promo
PROGRAM MECHANICS
A. Eligibility
1. The Promotion is open to all Principal and Supplementary cardholders of RCBC Bankard Visa with a minimum spending of Php1,000 made at any participating Caltex Stations.
2. Caltex participating products are: Caltex Diesel with Techron, Caltex Silver with Techron, Caltex Gold with Techron.
3. Cardholders whose accounts are suspended or terminated are not eligible to join.
B. Promotion Mechanics and Conditions
1. The Promotion commences on December 1, 2014, 12:01 a.m. and ends on January 31, 2015, 11:59 p.m. Philippine time.
2. Eligible Cardholders have two (2) ways of winning:
Instant Prize
a. Any single, minimum purchase worth Php1,000 made within the promo duration from any of the participating Caltex stations, entitles the Cardholder to win instant prizes.
b. Instant prizes at stake are:
Robinsons Gift Certificate worth Php500.00
Starbucks Coffee Gift Certificate worth Php200.00
Caltex StarCash worth Php300.00
c. A thermal receipt will be generated per transaction, which serves as a coupon indicating whether or not the customer wins an instant prize. The card terminal will generate the coupon and the lucky draw will be electronic and random.
d. Text to be included at the bottom of the receipt:
“Congratulations! You have just won ______________. Please claim your prize from the cashier. Who will win a brand new Mini Cooper Hatch? Use your VISA card to get more chances to win. See flyer for complete details. Promo runs from December 1, 2014 to January 31, 2015. Per DTI-NCR Permit No. 5266. Series of 2014.”
Non-winning coupon:
“Keep on using your Visa card and get more chances to win instant prizes. Who will win a brand new Mini Cooper Hatch? Use your VISA card to get more chances to win. See flyer for complete details. Promo runs from December 1, 2014 to January 31, 2015. Per DTI-NCR Permit No. 5266. Series of 2014.”
e. For validation purposes, Cardholder will be required to present his/her winning thermal coupon to the pump attendant. He/she will also be required to provide his/her name, address, contact number) and affix his/her signature on a monitoring sheet (c/o pump attendant) in order to claim and acknowledge receipt of the prize item.
f. Gift Certificate Prizes can be claimed at the station after validation procedures.
g. A Cardholder may win more than once for the instant prizes.
Raffle Draw
a. Every Php1,000.00 fuel purchase made in a single transaction, within the promo duration from any of the participating Caltex stations, also entitles the Cardholder to one (1) electronic raffle entry.
b. Raffle prize is one (1) All New Mini Cooper Hatch A/T 1.5L.
c. Every eligible Cardholder must keep the original Visa transaction slip used for the entry as physical proof of purchase.
d. The name of the cardholder, last four digits of the Visa card number, date and amount of the transaction must be stated on the charge/transaction slip.
3. Information provided by Cardholders for the Promotion will be used by Caltex and Visa and its agencies for administering the Promotion. Caltex and its agency may pass such information to its authorized service providers for management of the Promotion, data processing, prize redemption management and analysis and other purposes related to the Promotion. After the Promotion is completed, all data in hard and soft copy will be securely disposed of at all its data sources. By accepting these Terms and Conditions and participating in the Promotion, Cardholders have consented and are deemed to have consented to such use.
4. By participating in this Promotion, Cardholders agree to take part in any promotion or publicity exercise as may be conducted by Caltex and Visa and/or any of its representatives, its permitted assigns, and the participating Cardholders hereby irrevocably and unconditionally grant Caltex all consents and waivers necessary for Caltex to record and use the Cardholders’ performance, appearance, likeness, name, voice and/or particulars (as the case may be) in any manner as Caltex shall in its sole discretion deem fit. The participating Cardholders acknowledge that Caltex shall be at liberty to publish and otherwise use any recordings made by Caltex, without limitation, telephone recordings, audio recordings, visual recordings and photographs (if any), for the Promotion and publicity of this Promotion (whether now or in the future). Where permissible, each participating Cardholder expressly waives all rights, which the participating Cardholder may acquire or have under the law (and any subsequent enactment or amendments thereto) in relation to such recordings.
5. All entries remain the sole property of Caltex. The participating Cardholders hereby give their consent to and authorize Caltex to disclose their particulars to the third party service providers engaged by Caltex for purposes of the Promotion. Caltex warrants that the disclosure of such particulars to any third party service providers shall be limited to the information as submitted by the participating Cardholders and shall be used only in relation to and for purposes of the Promotion. All participating Cardholders’ information that are submitted shall be held within Caltex’ secure database of entries. Data from Caltex’ agency’s system will be deleted in the presence of an external auditor within thirty (60) days after the end of the Promotion.
6. Php100,000.00 worth of Caltex StarCash will be shouldered by Caltex.
C. Determination of the Raffle Prize Winner
1. The electronic raffle draw to select the Raffle Draw winner will take place at Equitable Computer Services, Inc.’ office with address: 2/F Maxicare Tower Bldg., 203 Salcedo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines, 3:00 p.m. on February 4, 2015.
2. Raffle Prize is One (1) All New Mini Cooper Hatch A/T 1.5L with Php100,000 free fuel.
3. Drawn winner will have his/her entry verified through their respective banks to confirm that they are based on valid transactions. The raffle entry details should match details from their bank such as the approval code, date of transaction, amount of transaction and card number to be considered as a bona fide transaction.
4. Once validated, the winner will be informed on how to claim the prize and will be sent a registered mail of congratulations afterwards through his/her respective bank.
5. Notification of winners will be done by the winner’s respective bank. Winners will be notified through registered mail, phone, published on Caltex Philippines official Facebook page with URL: https://www.facebook.com/CaltexPhilippines and Caltex Philippines official website with URL: http://www.caltex.com/ph/.
6. The grand draw prize will be picked up by the Cardholder at the manufacturer’s satellite office nearest to the winner’s location.
7. The winner should present 2 valid IDs along with the original transaction slip, the Visa Card used in the transaction, and the letter of congratulations.
8. The period during which the prizes can be claimed is sixty (60) days from the receipt of notice via registered mail. Prizes not claimed within this 60-day period will be forfeited upon approval from DTI. Winners must fill up the necessary forms and claim required by Caltex to certify that prize awarded has been received.
9. All Prizes are non-convertible to cash. The 20% prize taxes for prizes above Php10,000.00, registration requirements of the 2014 Mini Cooper (car) and shipping of the prizes to the winners once the requirements are fulfilled for validation will be shouldered by Caltex.
10. Caltex will not bear any transportation or other incidental costs incurred by the winner in traveling to the location indicated for redemption and/or submitting proof of identification.
11. The Cardholder’s Card account must be existing, valid and in good credit standing at the draw date to be eligible for the Promotion and prize.
12. Caltex together with Visa reserves the right to verify if the drawn entries are from eligible Cardholders.
13. A principal Card account is treated separately from the supplementary Card account. Entries for the principal account will be considered separate from entries of the supplementary account and vice versa.
14. Employees of Chevron Philippines Inc., all Caltex service stations advertising agencies, Caltex retailers and suppliers/contractors and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.
15. Decisions made by Chevron Philippines Inc, in accordance with these terms and conditions as well as with applicable rules and regulations, on all matters relating to this promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants, with prior concurrence of the DTI.
16. Winners authorize Chevron Philippines Inc. to disclose and publish their names, photos and other particulars determined by Chevron to any person/s and in any mode or manner as Chevron may deem appropriate.
