Ray White Marine profiling the best of the best at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show
It’s hard to stand out at a boat show featuring the most luxurious brands from around the world however this $10 million luxury motor yacht is the best of the best.
The Italian-designed and built 88ft Ferretti 881 will be on display courtesy of Ray White Marine at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 19-22 May.
As a Ferretti Yacht flagship model, the 881 is a luxury long-range European raised pilot house motor yacht, with this particular vessel further customized to represent the most highly optioned model to leave the shipyard, according to Ray White Marine CEO, Rick Rodwell.
“Nowhere is off limits for the 881. She could circumnavigate Australia or cruise to Fiji for the ultimate island-hopping adventure,” Rodwell said, citing the vessel’s increased 11,500-litre fuel capacity powering twin-MTU 2200 horsepower engines, zero speed stabilisation, state-of-the-art navigation systems, dual upgraded generators and hydraulic bow and stern thrusters.
“It comfortably sleeps eight plus crew with four en-suite cabins and a luxurious full beam width master suite,” he said.
“Stunning light oak timber interiors are characterised by designer furnishings, marble benchtops, European appliances and custom mosaic tiling.”
Other features include office facilities, satellite television, a commercial galley, separate entertaining areas, surround sound system and a hydraulic retractable leisure deck.
“It is truly a spectacular vessel and will be a highlight at Sanctuary Cove, which features the best boats in the world,” Rodwell said, adding that, Ray White Marine is bringing it to Sanctuary Cove for the first time along with two other luxury boat brands, Pershing and Riva, following its appointment as the exclusive distributor for Ferretti Group in Australia and New Zealand.
“In order to appropriately host our clients and display these leading global brands, we’ve secured a prominent location for our VIP hospitality lounge at Sanctuary Cove which overlooks the boardwalk onto our boats,” Rodwell said.
“Interested parties and visitors can come in, relax and chat with our marine industry specialists in world class style along with inspecting the various boats on display.”
“They can also enter our ‘Millionaire for a Day’ competition and pose for photos at our multi-million dollar display, featuring the recently launched Rolls Royce DAWN convertible, towing an iconic 27ft Riva.”
Along with Rolls Royce, Ray White Marine has also partnered with world renown Calleija Jewellers who will showcase their spectacular Diamond Collection, and LVMH, custodians of the famous MOET brand of champagne which Rodwell said will be flowing freely.
“We’ve also partnered with Ray White Surfers Paradise who will be showcasing high-end waterfront properties with a berth to go with your boat.”
For those who don’t have a multi-million dollar budget, Ray White Marine’s Gold Coast office at Marina Mirage will be participating in the Brokerage Show at the iconic Marina on the same four days as Sanctuary Cove, with pre-owned boats on display across all price ranges.
However if you have your heart set on luxury, Rodwell said another option is Ray White Marine’s recently launched Boat Syndication Program, similar to aircraft and apartment time share, providing usage at a fraction of the cost of outright ownership.
The real estate giant’s increased marine presence and luxury boat brand distributorship will see their existing marine offices, headquartered in Sydney and the Gold Coast, increased to around 25 throughout Australia and New Zealand over the next 12 months.
“New dedicated marine offices will soon open in every state, with selected Ray White property offices throughout the Group’s 1200-strong network adding Marine as a value add service to their clients wishing to buy or sell a boat,” Rodwell said.
