I don’t often do nail art challenges, mostly because I forget, or there are too many prompts and I don’t finish. But when the Canadian Beauty Bloggers decided to do a 7 day nail art challenge for October, I decided to join in.
Each day from Oct 11 to 17 has a specific theme. The photos will be on Instagram, and anyone is welcome to join in. Some bloggers will also be sharing via blog posts.
Let’s get this party started with Day 1: Black.
I decided to jazz up plain black nails and do monster eye nail art. It’s most a black look, but with some creep neon glowing eyes.
The black I used is Rainbow Honey in Black. The green eyes is Quo by Orly in Adrenaline. I used striping tape for the top of the eye and hand painted the sides and bottom. My hand painting skills are not super smooth, but the overall look is perfect for Halloween.
The one problem with doing a daily nail art challenge is that I don’t want to take these off to do the next day. Maybe I’ll redo this look for Halloween, I quite love it.
