धनबाद Dhanbad (DHN): Passengers at Dhanbad railway station will be able to enjoy a bigger bite at a new multi-cuisine food plaza that was inaugurated recently by the Divisional Railway Manager Dhanbad Division Mr.B.B.Singh. Comesum, as it is known, will be the excellent eatery set up at the station just at the entrance of the station premises.
Set up at a cost of Rs.40 lakh, the new eatery will make travelling a delectable experience. The plaza will serve fast food items, Chinese, North Indian, South Indian and Continental dishes, snacks, beverages and ice creams. It will remain open round the clock for passengers.

“Seating arrangement for 15 are made at the Comesum plaza so that passengers can enjoy our food while waiting for their trains,” said an official of Comesum.  The facility is a part of infrastructure development undertaken by Indian Railways after Dhanbad got A1 status last August.

Apart from this food plaza, escalators were set up at platform No. 2 and 3 in March, while elevators will also come up by the year-end.
