Old timers know that 'Uncle' Randy along with Larry Norman was a truly gifted singer/songwriter, one of the very first pioneers of what later evolved into contemporary Christian music, reaching as far back as the early 70s. Always the 'fun guy,' his offbeat antics and crazy sense of humor resulted in lots of novelty songs that rival those of Steve Taylor or Tonio K. He recorded for a variety of record labels over the years, most of them on the now defunct Myrrh Records, owned by Word Entertainment. These fan favorites are culled from those recordings from the 70s and 80s, and mostly emphasize his more serious and sensitive side, with a few zany tracks thrown in to lighten things up a bit. Songs include: 'The Wild Frontier,' 'Shut De Do,' 'I Thirst For You,' 'I Could Never Say Goodbye,' 'Still Small Voice,' 'Who Will Save the Children,' 'Turning Thirty,' 'Coming Back Soon,' 'Rachel Delvoryas,' and 'Christmas At Denny's.' 10 songs
