Chicosci has a new bassist in the form of Eco Del Rio.
“He brings that vibe, that millennial vibe,” kids vocalist Miggy Chavez.
“Eco ‘The Millennial Falcon’ Del Rio,” adds guitarist Mong Alcaraz.
In an interview with RadioRepublic.ph at Threadfest, the band confided that they are currently in the process of recording. “Originally plano naming mag-release ng EP,” says Alcaraz. “Tapos na yung EP, kumpleto na yung artwork, mixed and mastered. But at the end of it, we decided na gusto pa rin naming kumpletuhin yung ten songs.”
Previous bassist Calde Calderon already laid down tracks on the first five songs. Del Rio will record his tracks on the newer set of songs.
Alcaraz shares that the band also has been busy experimenting for this next record. “Ranging from less is more, nag-dabble kami sa electronics… Mabagal, minor key, maraming samples,” the guitarist elaborates.
