CE, Chile:

The Radio Club Rancagua is running two special events stations

during July. They are celebrating their 77th anniversary with

XR77RG, operating on all bands in SSB and PSK. With the call XR3PN

they are honouring the memory of the poet Pablo Neruda. QSL for

D2, Angola:

Joao, CT2HPM, is operating as D2CT from Luanda until July 26 on

20-10m, mainly in PSK31 and RTTY. QSL via h/c.

E5/s, South Cook Islands:

Andy, AB7FS (E51AND), and YL Kathy, E51KC, are planning a visit to

Mangaia Island (OC-159) from July 15 - 19. Andy wants to operate

holiday-style with a 13m vertical antenna in SSB and CW. QSL via

ET, Ethiopia:

Ken, K4ZW, will once more operate from ET3AA, the HQ-Station of the

Ethiopian Amateur Radio Society (EARS). QRV July 12 - 19, and 23,

also for the IARU Contest. Before and after the contest Ken will

concentrate on CW and help getting the local students started with

RSGB will be running GR2HQ for the IARU Contest from locations in

NA-181; VE7; British Columbia Province (stevan group): Klaus/VE7KDU

and Frank/VE7DP are planning an activation (at least 48 hours) from

Barnard Island between the 11th and the 15th. Depending on

transport and weather they hope to be active on 30-15m in CW and

SSB. If possible they also try to activate NA-061 for a few hours

NA-223; HR; Gracias a Dios Department group: Dan/HM2DMR will be QRV

from Vivorillos Bank as HQ8D, either from the 16th to the 20th or

from the 21st to the 27th, depending on transport. This IOTA group

is one of the most wanted with a confirmation rate of only 9%. The

operation will make use of two stations on HF in SSB, CW, and RTTY.
