This morning on KROQ’s Kevin & Bean Show, The Killers’ Brandon Flowers phoned in to talk about his band’s newest holiday single, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” Every year for the past decade the Las Vegas foursome have released a Christmas single with 100% of proceeds going to (RED) charity.

The single is just one of 11 tracks on the album titled Don’t Waste Your Wishes. The physical CD will be available in stores December 9.

Celebrating its 10th year, (RED) is a charity that was created by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to engage millions of people in “the greatest challenge of our time – the fight to end AIDS in Africa – where two thirds of the world’s estimated 37 million people with HIV/AIDS victims live.”

During the interview, Flowers confirmed new music from The Killers is indeed coming in 2017. “We will definitely have a record in 2017,” says the Vegas band’s frontman.

It will be the bands first album since 2012’s Battle Born.
