Kodak Black was released from a Florida jail on Monday (Nov. 28) after serving more than two months on two misdemeanor drug charges. The rapper isn’t off the hook just yet though. He was immediately transferred to the custody of South Carolina, where he faces a charge of criminal sexual conduct.

The “Skrt” rapper attended an extradition hearing on November 21 where a judge approved of his transfer, reported the Sun-Sentinel. “It does say that he has been turned over to South Carolina via the Florence County Sheriff’s Office,” St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Deputy Bryan Beaty told the paper.

Currently, Black is accused of a sexual battery charge that took place at a hotel in Florence, South Carolina on February 6. Earlier that night, Black played a show for 1,200 fans.

The rapper’s Florida lawyers are optimistic that Black will be cleared on this charge. If he isn’t, he could face 30 years in prison.

“We are firmly convinced that he will be vindicated in that charge and shortly be set free,” his attorney, Gary Kollin, told the Sun-Sentinel. “He’s looking forward to getting to South Carolina so he can go on with his life and career.”
