Like Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna before him, Lil Wayne is standing behind Jay Z’s streaming service TIDAL—so much so that Weezy has released a new track exclusively to subscribers called “Glory.”

Judging by a 30-second preview, available to all non-subscribers, it’s a soulful number with Wayne backed by baritone vocals. If it sounds like a track that Kanye West could have released, that’s because it could be a long-delayed token of Wayne’s appreciation for ‘Ye’s similarly titled Graduation song “The Glory,” where the Chicago MC shouted out Wayne: “The hood love to listen to Jeezy and Weezy/And, oh yeah, Yeezy/I did it for the glory.” Not to mention, Kanye is one of Tidal’s investors.

Perhaps this track marks a turning point and means that his long-awaited Carter V is finally coming out soon; the album has been delayed indefinitely as a spat between he and Cash Money’s Birdman continues to stall its release.
