Welcome to Working It, where Racked follows street style into the office.

Photos by Driely S. for Racked

In September, popular beauty site Into the Gloss announced its very own in-house product line, Glossier. It debuted in early October to tremendous fanfare—Racked's own beauty expert called it a slam-dunk.

Founder Emily Weiss has pulled in $10 million to grow Glossier, and recently secured cool new offices in Soho for the brand. After the jump, tour the space, see what the team wears to work, and pick up a ton of beauty wisdom and product recommendations, from what's worth the splurge to the best drugstore buys (everyone loves Maybelline).

Emily Weiss, founder and CEO, is wearing an Everlane sweater, Rag & Bone jeans, Balenciaga boots, an Isabel Marant scarf, an & Other Stories beanie, Glossier Phase 1 Set beauty products, and Nasty Gal x M.A.C. lipstick in Runner.

If you only had time for three beauty products in the morning, what would they be?

Glossier Priming Moisturizer, Balm Dotcom, and deodorant (I'm still looking for the best one).

What beauty products or rituals do you depend on while traveling? See above—plus a massage if I'm very, very lucky.

Best drugstore beauty buy?

Barbasol shaving cream.

Who are your style icons?

At the moment, Elin Kling.

Who's beauty routine do you find the most inspiring?
Annie Kreighbaum's.

What beauty treatment or product is totally worth its price tag?

A Brazilian bikini wax with Marta at Haven.

If you weren't working at Glossier, where would you be?

In business school getting an MBA.

Rebecca Zhou, Digital Manager, is wearing AYR pants, a Uniqlo shirt, and a Zara scarf and shoes.

Best drugstore beauty buy?

Rohto Cool Eye Drops and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

Who are your style icons?

I'm strangely influenced by Japanese menswear street style.

What beauty products or rituals do you depend on while traveling?

My everyday moisturizing routine, once before take off and once before landing. For my face, Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst-Quenching Serum and Glossier Priming Moisturizer. For my hands, Glossier Balm Dotcom and Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Balm.

What beauty treatment or product is totally worth its price tag?

At the risk of sounding like a total ITG-er, Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 that Emily Weiss put me onto.

What wellness trends did you hop on board with this year? Which ones won't you touch?

I really, really fell in love with spinning this year. Other new things I tried that didn't stick: oil pulling and those Vixen Workouts.

What was your first job?

In high school I worked as a photo retoucher in a senior portraits studio!

Sara Zucker, Senior Social Media Manager, is wearing Uniqlo jeans, a vintage Gap cardigan, an Everlane shirt, Mystic Moons tiny gold hoops from Etsy, BaubleBar ear jackets, Adidas sneakers, and Stila Stay All Day lip gloss in Merlot.

Who's beauty routine do you find the most inspiring?

Cleopatra. Girl knew how to do a cat-eye.

If you only had time for three beauty products in the morning, what would they be?

I never leave the house without filling in my brows, camouflaging under-eye circles, and keeping my raisin-like lips moisturized.

What wellness trend's did you hop on board with this year? Which ones won't you touch?

Organic beauty products are a recent draw, and I can't get enough of them because Mother Earth rules. I still haven't rode the oil pulling trend; I'd rather cook with the stuff than put it in my mouth.

Who are your style icons?

Bob Dylan minus his odd hat collection. I love a slim leg and a slouchy button-down.

What beauty products or rituals do you depend on while traveling?

Water and sleep—both of which you can never get enough of when you're on the road or in the air.

Best drugstore beauty buy?.

Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara.

What beauty treatment or product is totally worth its price tag?

Cle de Peau concealer. It lasts forever, doesn't crease up, and is super creamy so it doesn't pull on skin.

If you weren't working at Glossier, where would you be?

In the dusty archive of a museum.

What was your first job?

A short-lived stint assisting in ad sales at the New York Observer.

What's the best beauty, shopping, or style advice you've ever heard?

When it comes to fashion, if the piece you're about to buy doesn't coordinate with three things you already own and can't be dressed up and down, don't buy it.

Henry Davis, Chief Operations Officer, is wearing A.P.C. jeans and shoes, Happy Socks, a Uniqlo sweater, a blazer from a London thrift shop, a vintage pocket square, and a 1972 Rolex Explorer watch.

If you only had time for three beauty products in the morning, what would they be?

Glossier Priming Moisturizer, Tom Ford Beard Oil (whether I have a beard or not, it smells so good), and Eucerin deodorant—that's probably the most important, as far as everyone else is concerned.

Who's beauty routine do you find the most inspiring?

It has to be Emily Weiss's, somewhat predictably.

Best drugstore beauty buy?

Dr Bronner's Almond Castile Soap.

What products or beauty rituals do you depend on when traveling?

Little mini C.O. Bigelow Marvis toothpastes.

What was your first job?

I was a sales assistant at an English activewear apparel store called Fat Face when I was 15. I had so much fun, but probably sucked at it.

What wellness trends did you hop on board with this year? Which ones won't you touch?

I started working out a bit! Juice cleanses would be a disaster for me—I get very hangry.

Who are your style icons?

Wes Anderson.

What's the biggest (untrue) beauty myth you've ever heard?

That tomatoes can help get rid of zits. When I was 14, I taped a piece of tomato to my face one night. It was a messy disaster.

What's the best beauty, shopping, or style advice you've ever heard?

Stick to what you know!

Alexis Page, Director of Product Development, is wearing a vintage Prada slip dress, a jacket by The Row, A.P.C. shoes, Uniqlo socks, and a Ricky's barrette.

Who are your style icons?

Parker Posey in Party Girl, Kim Gordon, Kathleen Hanna, Sally Singer, Lisa Marie Fernandez, Talitha Getty, Truth or Dare-era Madonna, and Morrissey.

Best drugstore beauty buy?

Maybelline Lots of Lashes Mascara, Carmex Healing Cream, Schick Intuition razors, Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, and any and all barrettes. I could spend all day in a drugstore.

What beauty products or rituals do you depend on while traveling?

I always pack little samples of masks to get my skin back into shape after flying, and take advantage of big bathtubs and the endless supply of clean wash clothes in hotels to exfoliate and relax.

Who's beauty routine do you find the most inspiring?

Annie, our editorial director at Into The Gloss, because she always thinks of new ways to use products and is a really sick makeup artist and hair stylist.

If you only had time for three beauty products in the morning, what would they be?

Rovectin Body Creme, Illuminare Concealer, Glossier Balm Dotcom.

What wellness trends did you hop on board with this year? Which ones won't you touch?

I recently became pretty obsessed with foam rollers and compression leggings because my legs get really sore from only ever wearing flats these days. Weird! But I'm not exactly the type to ever juice cleanse, and I'm an avid non-SoulCycler.

What was your first job?

I started working at a flower shop in Buffalo when I was 14, and I really feel like it set me on a path that led me to where I am today. It helped me hone in on the fact that I'm super obsessed with colors and creating things.

What beauty treatment or product is totally worth its price tag?
Biologique Recherche. I don't know where I'd be without P50 and their masks.

If you weren't working at Into the Gloss, where would you be?

Living in Portland or Seattle, making collages, and going to beauty school.

What's the biggest (untrue) beauty myth you've ever heard?

I woke up like this.

Umaimah Sharwani, Head of Operations, is wearing Express jeans, an Everlane tank top, a Victoria's Secret bralette, a Forever21 blazer, Vince Camuto boots, an Etsy necklace, a Nixon watch, and a made-in-Pakistan ring from her mom.

Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint, Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner, and Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Lash.

What beauty treatment or product is totally worth its price tag?

Eyebrow threading.

What products or beauty rituals do you depend on when traveling?

It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Conditioner.

What wellness trends did you hop on board with this year? Which ones won't you touch?

I love drinking green juices but will never go on a juice cleanse again.

Best drugstore beauty buy?

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner.

What's the best beauty, shopping, or style advice you've ever heard?

Don't wash your hair everyday. I only wash it twice a week!

Claire Knebl, Managing Editor, is wearing Rag & Bone boots, a vintage Balmain skirt, a Jennie Kwon ring, a Meadowlark ring, and Giles & Brother bracelets.

What beauty treatment or product is totally worth its price tag?

Who doesn't love a good facial? Tell me. Please.

What beauty products or rituals do you depend on while traveling?

Flying with makeup on just doesn't feel good, so I usually wash my face with a wipe when I get on the plane.

Whose beauty routine do you find the most inspiring?

The nice part of working at Into The Gloss is that I'm inspired by new people every day. Linda Rodin looks her age, but looks fantastic.

If you only had time for three beauty products in the morning, what would they be?

I wouldn't want to go a day without La Roche-Posay sunscreen, Glossier Skin Tint, and Anastasia Brow Gel.

Best drugstore beauty buy?

I use Vaseline Rosy Lips every morning—it leaves just a little bit of color and sort of makes people want to ask what you're wearing, or if you're even wearing anything at all. It's neutral but definitely present. For shaving, I haven't found anything better than Barbasol.

What was your first job?

Online editorial assistant at Teen Vogue.

What wellness trends did you hop on board with this year? Which ones won't you touch?

I drank a lot of green juices and ate a lot of yogurt (but also a lot of french fries!). I'm terrified of oil pulling though.

Eunice Lee, Business Development & Advertising Manager, is wearing a blouse and knit tee from a flea market in LA, an A/X skirt, Saint Laurent shoes, and Vince Camuto accessories.

If you only had time for three beauty products in the morning, what would they be?

Glossier Priming Moisturizer, Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint, and Stila eyeliner.

Who's beauty routine do you find the most inspiring?

This year I was really into Josie Maran's Top Shelf interview we had up on Into The Gloss. She exudes happiness, and I like what she says about feeling beauty rather than seeing beauty.

What beauty products or rituals do you depend on when traveling?

I'm obsessed with face wipes. Burt's Bees and Neutrogena also make great ones. I also always pack my own conditioner. I'll use any shampoo the hotel has, but conditioner makes or breaks how my hair will feel for the rest of the day. Bad hair days suck.

Best drugstore beauty buy?

Cetaphil Cleansing Wipes. They're the perfect size for the amount of makeup I wear. And they save me from feeling too guilty if I pass out before washing my face at night.
