You know Cosmopolitan as the magazine that taught you about sex before you were having it—now, let us introduce CosmoBody: a digital offshoot of the mag that's all about fitness. The membership-based site has enlisted eight of the country's top trainers to virtually demonstrate effective at-home workouts and answer pressing wellness questions, like whether to eat before or after a workout and how to up your gym ponytail.

In addition to their collective killer abs, the group knows how to dress for the gym—no sloppy sweats here. After the jump, check out what Tara Stiles, Astrid McGuire, JJ Dancer, Katia Pryce, Ary Nuñez, Don Saladino, Rique Uresti, and Adam Rosante wear while they work out.

JJ Dancer, Dance Pro, is wearing an Espalier bra, Chill by Will leggings, and Supra shoes.

What's your biggest guilty pleasure?

Although I'm a vegan, I have a sweet tooth that just won't quit! Cake, cookies, brownies, and anything else with sugar in it that crosses my path doesn't stand a chance. As long as it doesn't come from an animal, it's going down.

What do you think of the athletic trend going on in fashion right now?

I'm loving it! I love that we don't have to be uncomfortable in a tight bandage dress to be on-trend. There are so many fun ways to play with the sporty side of fashion.

What are your beauty must-haves?

A great mascara, some concealer, and clip-on hair extensions.

What's your favorite at-home workout move?

That would be the Booty Pop Squat, wearing heels.

Who makes the best workout leggings?
Athleta, Body Language, and Chill by Will.

What was your first job?

I started teaching ballet at the age of 14, but that didn't feel like a "job" to me. It wasn't until a year later when I started working at the local Burger King that I knew what a job felt like. I worked long hours at the BK. To pass the time, I would be back there in the kitchen snacking on all kinds of burgers, fries, and breakfast sandwiches. I was there so much that in my dreams at night, I could see my hands making Whoppers. I definitely packed on the pounds those days.

If you didn't work in fitness, what would you be doing?

I foster and rescue animals, so I could definitely see myself running a huge sanctuary for wounded and unwanted animals. I also studied psychology in school...why not do something with that? Or I could use my hefty appetite and excitement surrounding food to be the best food-taster ever! But let's be real, I think that my massive speeding tickets prove that I would rule as a race car driver.

What's your number one time-saving tip when you're going from a workout to a social event?

Be prepared. Know exactly what you're going to wear and how you're going to do your hair. When I know that I'm going out after my workout, I try to prep my hair as much as possible before heading to the gym. My hair is a thing onto itself.

What's in your gym bag?

My gym bag is fully loaded with tons of workout clothes, toiletries, and vegan snacks. I also keep toys, treats, and a water bowl for my little roll dog, Jazzy.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

Heels!

Astrid McGuire, Boot Camp Expert, is wearing an Alala jacket, a Stella McCartney for Adidas bra, Club Monaco leather pants, Lacoste sneakers, and an Alexander Wang bag.

Who makes the best workout leggings?

It's so hard to chose just one! I love Michi and Pilot Athletic at the moment. They're great for traveling on the plane and heading straight to the gym.

What do you think of the athletic trend going on in fashion right now?

I love the sporty trend—it makes my day-to-night quick-change even quicker. I can add a leather jacket and a boot to any of my leggings and feel like I don't look like a gym rat out to dinner.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

Skinny jeans and a loose blouse with a leather jacket and ankle booties, or a casual dress, flip-flops, and a jean jacket.

What's your number one time-saving tip when you're going from a workout to a social event?

I always do my eye makeup before my workout if I have to head out to an event after. Not sure why, but it sets and then my skin has a glow and I'm ready to roll!

What's in your gym bag?
Project Happy Face Wipeout pads to clean my skin the second I'm done sweating. The proceeds go to kids that have acne and can't afford treatment. Workout gloves, a notebook, and an iPod mini.

What are your beauty must-haves?

Cle de Peau concealer, Burts Bees chapstick, and Lancôme mascara.

What's your favorite at-home workout move?

Jump rope and squats.

What was your first job?

A model, at 14 years old.

If you didn't work in fitness, what would you be doing?

I'd be an esthetician.

Don Saladino, Strength Training Pro, is wearing a Nike shirt and pants and Under Armour sneakers.

Who makes your favorite workout gear?
Nike Pro makes great stuff, especially their leggings. I also wear Lululemon.

What's your biggest guilty pleasure?

I love to splurge on a Sunday and have a cheat meal or two.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

If I'm going for a casual look, I like to wear jeans and a T-shirt and keep it really simple. If I'm going out, I definitely turn into a label whore. I love Prada—it's my absolute favorite.

What's your number one time-saving tip when you're going from a workout to a social event?

Shower fast. I never go from a workout to an event without showering and putting on an appropriate outfit.

What's in your gym bag?

My aminos, a post-workout protein shake, my iPad, a phone charger, and my headphones.

What are your beauty must-haves?

I love Kiehl's face and body moisturizers, and I also love Dr. Bronner's bar soap, British Hair brand hair paste, and Forest, a deodorant with no chemicals.

What's your favorite at-home workout move?

At home I love to stretch, or I have a simple circuit of kettle bell swings, Turkish get-ups, pull-ups, goblet squats, and pushups I do in an order, followed by sprints. This is a quick, sweaty workout that I can get done quickly if need be.

What was your first job?

I worked at a catering hall called the Crest Hollow Country Club in Long Island, sweeping floors and waiting tables, so I was able to learn about customer service at a young age. I pride myself on that. I was taught well.

If you didn't work in fitness, what would you be doing?

I would be dead. There is nothing else in this world that the Big Man upstairs had planned for me as a profession. I'm living my dream.

Tara Stiles, Celeb Yogi, is wearing a Reebok jacket, pants, and sneakers, and a Strala tank and tote.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

Crazy clothes from Tokyo mixed with old T-shirts and high tops.

Who makes the best workout leggings?

I'm obsessed with my rainbow knitted leggings from my Reebok collab. They're inspired by a pair of legwarmers my grandma made for me when I was four, updated in Atari colors for nostalgia and slightly loose for a grownup fit.

What's your number one time-saving tip when you're going from a workout to a social event?

A dress that doesn't wrinkle, a Shu Uemura eyelash curler, and Maybelline Great Lash mascara. A little more time and I would call my makeup artist friend for actual help.

What are your beauty must-haves?
Embryolisse, I use it by the bucket loads. Heated sleep masks from a drug store in Tokyo that are like getting a spa treatment while you sleep—and great for the plane.

What's your favorite at-home workout move?

Handstands in my living room.

What was your first job?

I was a demonstrator at my dance studio when I was 9 years old, and sold Blow Pops out of my locker at 14. I answered phones at Pizza Hut when I was 15.

If you didn't work in fitness, what would you be doing?

Probably own a Blow Pop empire.

Ary Nuñez, Martial Arts Expert, is wearing head-to-toe Nike.

What's your number one time-saving tip when you're going from a workout to a social event?

Wrapping my hair up in a ninja bun, applying bright red lipstick, and throwing on some sneaker heels.

What's in your gym bag?

My gym bag is pretty efficient. I have a makeup bag from lips to lids, Walker's Apothecary traveling skincare travel kit, Fekkai Brilliant Glossing, Prada perfume, Herban Essentials lavender towelettes, a pair of cycling shoes, two extra workout outfits (sports bra, tights, top and socks), a notepad, my iPhone 6, music on a separate iPod, and business cards.

Who makes the best workout leggings?

My favorite workout leggings are the Nike Dri-Fit Legendary Pants in black, because they hug everything that matters (aka my Dominican bootie!), and they fit my body like a sleeve. I could live in them every day!

What's your biggest guilty pleasure?

My biggest guilty pleasure in the shopping department is Christian Louboutin foot candy. I am sweaty most of the time because of my career, so when it's time to look like a lady, I revel in it. My biggest guilty pleasure in the spirits department is called a Sage Highball. The best place to get one? Marco and Pepe on Grove Street in Jersey City.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

When I'm not in workout gear, I am in workout gear! My workout gear is the coolest shnitz ever. You are welcome to peruse my closet. It's a girl's dream and a metrosexual's fantasy. The only switch from Day Ninja Fitness Warrior is a pair of heels or fringe boots.

What was your first job?

My first job, at 11 years old, was helping out in my uncle's Dominican restaurant. My first independent job was in fashion, selling for Antique Boutique in New York City.

If you didn't work in fitness, what would you be doing?

If I didn't work in fitness, I would be traveling the world lending a hand to those in need, especially women and children.

Adam Rosante, Interval Training Expert, is wearing H&M sweatshorts, a J.Crew top, a Bickley + Mitchell hat, and Reebok sneakers.

What do you think of the athletic trend going on in fashion right now?

I think it's great. People want functionality in their lives, and designers are doing an amazing job of translating that into fashion.

Who makes your favorite workout gear?
C9 by Champion. It's a line exclusive to Target, and it's the best functional training gear around. When you work out as much as I do, you understand the importance of being able to have a closet full of it.

What's your biggest guilty pleasure?

Not trying to be cute here, but I never feel guilty about any of my pleasures. I'd like to encourage people to drop the guilt. Life is meant to be enjoyed and for me that quite often means great beer and amazing craft cocktails. A big Italian dinner with friends at Carbone or at my home is one of my faves. I'm also known to go on a monster shopping spree at Warm down on Mott Street in New York. Best spot in the country for gifts.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

Depends on what I'm doing. Most often a pair of jeans, a James Perse or American Apparel T-shirt, or a John Varvatos shawl neck cardigan and a pair of Red Wings or Church jodhpur boots. For an event, I have custom suits made by my friend Keanan Duffty. Black tie = Tom Ford. But if I'm lounging at home, it's all getting swapped out for my LZY RBT sweatpants. They just knocked my James Perse sweats out of rotation and may possibly be the death of my productivity. If they make a onesie, it's game over.

What are your beauty must-haves?

Clean, whole foods. Half my bodyweight in ounces of water each day. Twenty-minute morning meditation, high-intensity workouts, and Dr. Colbert face serum.

What's your favorite at-home workout move?

Dumbbell thrusters vs. burpees over bells. Like chocolate and peanut butter, these are two great tastes that go great together. You'll work nearly every muscle in your body and burn a ton of fat, fast.

Katia Pryce, Dance Cardio Queen, is wearing a Solow bra and pants, a Zara jacket, an American Apparel hoodie, and Aldo shoes.

What's your number one time-saving tip when you're going from a workout to a social event?

Work with the sweat! Usually I don't have time to shower before going out after work, so I make my sweat work for me. I pile my hair into a tight sleeked back bun. It always looks socially acceptable and smart.

What are your beauty must-haves?

Smith's Rosebud Salve and Oscar Blandi's hair glossing cream to smooth the flyaways.

What do you think of the sporty, athletic trends going on in fashion right now?

Being a trainer, it rocks my world. I'm in workout gear all the time—and most of the time, all day—so it's nice to feel like I can still look fashionable but get sweaty at the same time.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

My go-tos are Citizens of Humanity jeans, Splendid tank tops, anything from All Saints, and I won't go anywhere with my leather jacket from Zara.

What's your favorite at-home workout move?

Booty shaking to my favorite music. I love dancing around unprompted—you get a quick calorie burn.

Who makes the best workout leggings?
Lululemon. They win because they make your butt look the best, hands down! However, there are several other brands I'm loving lately, like Koral, Pilot Athletic, Alala, Prism Sport, and Phat Buddha.

What's your biggest guilty pleasure?

In terms of shopping, lingerie and swimwear. The ridiculous expensive, high-quality stuff. It's just so luxurious against the skin. I would live in lingerie and bikinis if I was allowed to. Also, watching any trashy reality show on Bravo. Nothing gets more zen than that—it's completely mindless and relaxing.

Rique Uresti, Beginner-Friendly Fitness Pro, is wearing an H&M jacket, a Lululemon shirt, Nike shorts, Lacoste sneakers, and a Marc by Marc Jacobs duffel bag.

What do you think of the athletic trend going on in fashion right now?

I'm liking the abundant choices that allow for originality and expression, even while sweating.

What's your number one time-saving tip when you're going from a workout to social event?

Sweaty hair is sexy.

Who makes your favorite workout gear?
James Perse.

What's your biggest guilty pleasure?

Dinners out with my hubby.

When you're not in workout gear, what are you wearing?

Workout gear that looks nice, and an awesome coat or jacket.

What are your beauty must-haves?

I'm a huge product junky: Peter Thomas Roth and some good masks.

What's your favorite at-home workout move?

Squat lunges and the dreaded push-up.

What was your first job?

Slicing meat at a deli.
