Saturday’s Findlay Truck Touch To Feature Rebel Yell Motorsports

PITTSBURGH, PA — Race fans looking for some fun this Saturday should stop by the Second Annual Findlay Township Truck Touch event that will be held at the Clinton Park from 11:00AM to 2:00PM as the 2013 PPMS Late Model Sportsman Champion Nick Kocuba will have his race car on display.

The event, which is sponsored by Macaroni Kid Robinson, is free to attend, but there is a suggested donation per car at the gate to benefit the Western Allegheny Community Library. All proceeds benefit the library.

All children who stop by the Truck Touch gate will receive a coupon entitling them to Free Grandstand Admission for this Saturday’s racing action. In addition, adults who accompany the children to that evening’s racing action will receive a $2.00 discount on the Grandstand Admission.

This is an excellent opportunity for race fans of all ages to get an “up close and personal look” at the sharp looking blue and yellow Late Model Sportsman ride that Nick drove to two feature wins this season. The Rebel Yell Motorsports Team members will also be in attendance so be sure to stop by and “get behind the wheel” of the Clarken Family Chiropractic/Colonial Beer Distributor/Hankey Farms Auto/Duritza’s Shop ‘n Save, Burgh Gaming (Burgh.net)/RYM Race Graphics sponsored vehicle before you head to “Dirt’s Monster Half Mile.”

In addition to the Rebel Yell Motorsports ride, children will also have the opportunity to see vehicles from the Findlay Township and North Fayette Township Police and Public Works Departments as well as the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department and numerous area businesses.

Adult Grandstand Admission for Saturday’s racing action is $20.00. Seniors, Ages 60 and Over, are admitted for $19.00 with Juniors, Ages 13 to 16, priced at $15.00. Admission for Children aged Six through 12 is $5.00 and Children Under Age Six will be admitted Free. In addition, all children aged Six through 12 will receive a free gift when they present their admission ticket at the PPMS Gift Shop, which now features Apparel by Denise.

Pit Admission for this week’s racing action is $40.00.

Fans may bring their own refreshments however; glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. In addition, coolers are limited to 14 inches or smaller in size. Don’t forget that the Checkered Flag Food Court has a great variety of delicious food like hot and juicy quarter pound cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, curly fries and cotton candy at “fan friendly prices.”

Race fans over the age of 21 can purchase alcoholic beverages at Ed’s Pub, which is located under the main grandstand. Ed’s features all major brands of beer plus wine, mixed drinks, and energy drinks at local tavern type pricing!
