2014 ANIMAL LICENSING

***All Dogs and Cats must be licensed by January 31, 2014***

NEW Licensing Location for 2014

2014 animal licenses will be issued at Wisconsin Humane Society – Racine Campus – 2706 Chicory Road Racine 53403

Hours: Monday – Friday 12 PM – 8PM, Saturday 10 AM – 6 PM    Phone 554-6699

Racine Public Health Department, Room 1 of City Hall

Hours:  Monday – Friday 8AM to 12 PM and 1 PM – 4:30 PM.

The Health Department office will be CLOSED on the following days: 

Tuesday, December 24, 2013

Wednesday December 25, 2013

Tuesday, December 31, 2013

Wednesday January 1, 2014

 

Pet Fancier Permit, ferret, potbellied pig, and exotic pet licenses MUST be obtained at the Health Department location

 

Proof of current rabies vaccination and spay/neuter is required for licensing

 

Mail your license request with a copy of the rabies certificate, proof of spay or neuter and proper payment to:

              Racine Public Health Department, Room 1 730 Washington Avenue, Racine, WI  53403

OR

Fax your application along with credit card payment, proof of spay or neuter and proof of rabies vaccination to the Health Department

262-636-9165 (your application will be shredded after the information is processed)

 

2014 LICENSE FEES  (NOTE PRICE INCREASE)

License fees are $11 for spayed or neutered (altered) animals and $36 for non-altered animals

Senior (age 65 and older) license fee for an altered animal is $6

Cash, Checks (payable to CITY OF RACINE or WHS – Racine Campus ), Visa and MasterCard are accepted  

After January 31, 2014 a late fee of $10 per license will be charged
