November is the eleventh month of the year, and the last month of Spring. The racing carnival hits the epitome of their calendar with the Melbourne Cup on the first Tuesday of the month, where most Australians become equine experts and pick their winners. Raising awareness for Diabetes, it’s a good day for not-for-profit health organisations to start the conversation on healthy living.

A UN observed day to encourage tolerance, respect and cooperation among different cultures around the world.

This is surprisingly a UN observed day as well, recognising the role TV plays in presenting different issues that affect people.

Perfect day to highlight for any business that is involved in the audio visual industry, or is a content creator/ broadcaster.

Abraham Lincoln was elected as 16th U.S President on 6 November, 1980.

11 November is a poignant moment in Australia’s history with three significant events; Remembrance Day signifies the Armistice which ended World War 1, the famous bushranger Ned Kelly was hanged at Melbourne Gaol in 1880, and Prime Minister Gough Whitlam made history as the first PM to be sacked by the Governor-General in 1975.
