Age of the candidate should not be above 38 years as on 01.01.2014. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST&PH candidates

B.Ed Special Education OR
B.Ed (General) with Diploma in Special Education OR
B.Ed (General) with Foundation Course OR
Graduation with Diploma in Special Education OR
Pursuing B.Ed Special Education (having Foundation Course)
Application Fee
A non – refundable demand draft/ bankers cheque for Rs. 300/- only (Three hundred only) for general & OBC and Rs.150/- (0ne fifty only) for SC/ST & PH candidates drawn in favour of RMSA, Assam payable at Guwahati also needs to be enclosed with the application form.
Selection Process
The applicants (found valid after scrutiny of the applications) shall have to undergo both “Common Written Test” and “Personal Interview” for selection as special educators. The “Common Written Test” shall be for a maximum of 150 marks comprising of question from the topic mentioned below. All the questions will be of objective type:
a) Part A: 60 marks (Current affairs, General Knowledge & Language)
b) Part B: 90 marks (General Disability & Special Education)
Total: 150 marks (Time: 120 minutes)
How To Apply
Interested candidates may download the application forms from RMSA, Assam website http://www.rmsaassam.in/ or may collect the same from the Office of the Mission Director, Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan, Assam, SSA Campus, Kahilipara, Guwahati – 19. The filled in application form along with supporting documents for age, qualification and experience with two (2) copies of duly attested latest passport size photograph should be sent along with the application form to the Office of the Mission Director, Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan, Assam, SSA Campus, Kahilipara, Guwahati – 19 either in person or through post by 4:00 PM on or before 25th Sept, 2014.

Graduate Teachers(Assamese/Bengali)
BA with Assamese/Bengali as one of the subject with 50% marks and BT/B.Ed degree from any recognized university. TET qualified (Any).
Hindi Teacher
Pravin/Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks having degree qualification from any recognized university or BA with Hindi as one of the subject with 50% marks and BT/B.Ed degree from any recognized university. TET qualified (Any
Music Teachers
Bachelors degree in Music from a recognized University with 50% marks.
Computer Teachers
BCA / B.Sc (IT/CS) or BIT or DOEACC 'B' Level or BE/B. Tech. (IT/CS) or MCA or M.Sc (IT/CS) with at least 55% marks.
Librarian
Graduation with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution
Lab Attendant
12th standard passed with science stream from a recognized university or board.
Desirable:
Experience of working in a CBSE affiliated/Government recognized school.
Proficiency in English and Assamese/concerned regional language
Selection Process
The criteria for selection of Teachers shall be as follows:-
100 marks on percentage of marks in B.A/B.Com/B.Sc Examination; [In case of Major/Hons, the marks obtain in Major/Hons, shall be taken into consideration 100 marks on percentage of marks in H.S Final Examination; 100 marks on percentage of marks in H.S.L.C Examination;
100 marks on percentage of marks in B.T/B.Ed Examination;
20 marks for achievement in fine Arts and Cultural Activities/Sports representing the state officially at National Level/ NCC certificate/ participating in recognized sports at National level representing Assam
Maximum 30 marks for teaching experience @ 2 marks per year of teaching experience in Higher Secondary School/High School having enrollment more than 100.
20 marks on Interview.

Application Fee
Applicants must submit an applicant fees of Rs 200/- at any branch of State Bank of India after second working day (48 Hours) from the day of the application submit. Payment of application Fee can be made at any branch of State Bank of India by cash only.

Applicants must carry all the attested photocopies of certificates in proof of age, qualifications, experience, pay scale and category along with the original when called for interview.
