Good morning! It’s Monday!! How was your weekend? We had a good weekend. Saturday we headed north to South Center and Bellevue and ran a bunch of errands. We went to IKEA and picked up a few things (a brave task on a weekend! Keyword is PATIENCE!!), then ran over to Bellevue Square where I redeemed my free Sephora birthday offer, enjoyed some frozen yogurt, and browsed some of the stores.
Gymboree had 40% off store-wide (regular priced items) and an EXTRA 30% off all hard-marked tags (discounted). Plus I had a 20% off coupon from the last Family Fun magazine – found some kid’s pajamas for about $7-8 a pair! You can also earn $25 in Gymbucks for every $50 you spend, to redeem in late September.
Then my favorite part – we headed to Uwajimaya – the most awesome Seattle-based Asian grocery store ever – they have lots of products our family likes, but can’t find locally. And their prices are great.
Yesterday we watched the Seahawks lose (boo hoo) at a family football party (Seahawks crock-pots were in FULL force!) and we enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather yesterday evening. My goodness, this weather just keeps on impressing with summer like temps and what feels like constant sunshine! My son was gifted some secondhand roller skates so we tested those out – busting just one ceramic flower pot (oye!) and my shins . . .well they may never be the same again. We’ll keep at it and he’ll get it eventually. I remember being dropped off at the roller skating rink for hours as a kid – it’s what we did in the 80’s! Did you grow up rollerskating?
