Good morning! How was your weekend? We had a great weekend. On Saturday we got caught up on laundry, errands and chores. Mr. Queen Bee spackled the nail holes in our living room (left from last homeowners) in preparation for painting this week. We did two live LuLaRoe sales on Saturday (so fun) and we spent a lot of time packaging/processing those orders.
On Sunday we took the day “off” from a lot of obligations and spent some quality time with our kiddos. Each of us took a kid on a special “date” and it was great fun. I took my daughter to see Moana at the discount theater – her choice! The discount theater here in town is $3 admission. We love it. The boys went to see the newest Star Wars movie at the discount theater.
The weather has started warming up – so we took the baby chicks outside yesterday so they could get a little feel for the yard and do a little exploring. We didn’t keep them out too long, since we didn’t want them to get too chilly (they are under a heat lamp currently) but it sure was fun playing on the grass with them after months of SNOW! The weather is hopefully done with snow here and I’m see temps in the high 40s and low 50s over the next couple weeks (hooray!). I can’t wait to plant some flowers and move the chickens outside.
