Good morning, sweet friends! How was your weekend? Our was nice and relaxing – still hanging out in Michigan. Friday and Saturday we moved to a new spot at Harrisville State Park – what a beautiful view we had!. The sand is so soft, the water so blue and you’d think we were in a tropical spot – if only the weather was a little warmer.
And yesterday we moved south to another spot, Tawas Point State Park – we’re slowing making our way south and out of Michigan so that we can head east! There is a wonderful lighthouse within walking distance that we toured last night and there are birds and FROGS everywhere in this park. I took the kids for a walk at dusk and we giggled as the frogs jumped in all directions as we walked along the shoreline. My 8-year-old is so excited to see all the frogs – he can hardly stand it.
Next weekend is Labor Day and we plan to head through Northern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and Western New York! I can’t believe it’s September already – the summer has gone by so quickly.
