Good morning! TGIF! It’s Friday and I can’t believe we’re nearly halfway through August already. Are your kids in school already? I know a lot of school districts around the country have started already.
We are in Duluth, Minnesota this morning but are headed out and will be deep into Wisconsin by dinner time. We spent the day exploring Duluth yesterday – going to the Lake Superior Zoo (FREE with our reciprocal museum membership) and also walking around Canal street downtown. The photo above is my son running on the rocks along Lake Superior – what a sight this lake is!
This morning over on our travel blog, I shared a post about our visit to Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota. Both are beautiful and we really enjoyed our time driving through the Black Hills! I’m about 2 weeks delayed in my blog posts (we were there in late July) – hoping to get caught up this next week, so my posts are a bit more current with where we’re at.
