Good morning! How are you doing today? Yesterday my daughter and I went deal hunting and we scored big time! We started at Goodwill where I found Gymboree and Lands End clothing items – as low as $1.99. I love the hunt almost as much as finding the treasures! See more about my Goodwill shopping trip here.
Then we went to QFC and lucked out big time with the manager markdowns in the produce and meat sections! My cart was almost exclusively items that had been marked down for quick sale. Dole salad blends, carrots, organic spring mix, yogurts, Ball canning supplies, lunch meat and even Jennie-O turkey brats. You can easily save 50% off or more by picking up manager markdowns. The meat went into the freezer. The produce is already on it’s way to being eaten! If you have coupons, you CAN use them on these marked down items – although they may have to be manually entered because they are scanned with the markdown barcode, not the product bar code, so the register has a harder time matching up the coupons with the products.
