Good morning! I’m actually writing today’s Rise and Shine intro the night before, which I rarely do. Earlier this week my daughter broke her humerus (the big bone in your upper arm) playing outside and she is likely in surgery as you read this. The break is near her growth plate, and it separated enough, that she will need a couple pins put into her elbow before they can cast it. 
This is very hard for this mama to handle! We are currently in St. George, Utah and I believe she is in the best hands – but it’s never easy to hand your babies over to a doctor for a procedure like this. It’s an outpatient surgery so I’m hoping to have her home in a couple hours, snuggled under a blanket with me, watching movies, and eating ice cream for the next few days. I’ll probably post an update on Instagram for those of you who want to know how it goes.
