DOHA: Microsoft Corporation has praised on its website efficiency of the operating schemes of Ezdan Holding Group.

The Group has used latest financial and administrative information technology programmes as part of Ezdan Holding plan to enhance efficiency of its operations and gain a comprehensive view on administrative and financial processes.

Ezdan has signed a cooperation agreement with Microsoft to adopt Microsoft Dynamics AX 2 2012 R2 and incorporate it into its management system to achieve its objectives.

The plan was to provide a common operations platform, improving operational efficiencies and realising a comprehensive view on all of its consolidated financial and management operations. The adoption of the programme resulted in the improvement of operational processes, ranging from human resources to property management planning.

The Group has chosen the programme within the framework of the broad scope of its assets, which require vigilant management because of massive resources, as it employs over 1,500 people and operates a call centre around the clock.

The Group is also managing and supervising third-party property management contracts each year, and each requires an extensive scope of work, from maintenance and repairs to liability assessment, daily upkeep and planning.

In its report on its website, Microsoft said that after the shift made by Ezdan Holding at the work level, it was obligatory for it to adopt and rely on sophisticated system that provides advanced, multi-functionality, high accuracy and super efficiency jobs, which will contribute to driving development processes forward in all of its operations and services in real estate projects and others and its ease of use and reliability.

Ezdan has chosen Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 due to advantages such as inclusiveness and diversity of its functions, and its ease of use and adaptation functions according to complex business requirements.

The system includes modules for human resources, business intelligence, reporting, self-service, procurement and inventory and financial modules such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgeting.

Dynamics AX would meet all of the Group’s business needs as it has a licensing structure that is transparent and straightforward. The company has also utilised Microsoft’s cloud platform — MS Azure as a backup site.

Group Deputy CEO, Nasser Al Abdulla, said: “The adoption of such a system for the Group’s operations is in line with the vision of Chairman of Ezdan Holding Group, Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, to develop Group operations, especially after the evolution achieved at the level of its diverse projects.

“The Group is keen to achieve maximum transparency, security and better production rates in all its actions, preserving the privileges of shareholders and partners in its success by providing accurate and timely financial and administrative reports,” he added.
