Doha 24th April 2014: Mohamed Althaf, Director of Lulu Hypermarket Group officially inaugurated Food Festival at Lulu Hypermarket, Al Gharrafa yesterday with a cake-cutting ceremony.
This is for the 14th consecutive year that LuLu Hypermarket is organizing the Festival.
The two week-long event will feature Rice ‘N’ Spice Festival, Cake Day, Mediterranean Food Festival, Healthy Salad Day, Seafood Festival, South African Fest, promotion of all meat categories and Asean Food Festival.
It will also feature various competitions including juice drinking, banana eating, flavoured milk drinking, laban drinking, ice-cream eating, biryani eating, noodles and chilli eating, sandwich and burger eating, cake-icing , fruit-carving, quiz, painting and drawing, Quick Shopper and Lucky Customer.
The festival also aims at educating customers about various food habits and making them aware of various international cooking styles and ingredients of different cuisines.
The festival will continue until 7th May.
