Embers Igniting does three things: 1. Publishes real, relevant, radical writing and art for the glory of Christ. 2. Provides resources and topics of discussion for writers and artists. 3. Engages in the community of creators, both locally and globally. In writing, we look for the light in the darkness and the darkness in the light; deep truths revealed through good old fashioned story-telling; and humor that doesn’t try too hard and wit that cuts.
Please read our guidelines carefully before submitting. We also recommend reading at least one past volume of the magazine to get a feel for what we publish. Note that we provide detailed feedback for ALL submissions; you can even request specific feedback when you submit your work.
