As part of the teen-oriented Kapamilya series Oh My G!, Manolo Pedrosa said he feels blessed to be part of show with growing ratings. “Ang saya, kakagaling ko nga ngayon sa Oh My G taping. Masaya kasi halos everyday na yung taping namin and marami na akong sequences so even if it's hard I enjoy it because it's work,” he shared.

The 17-year-old former Pinoy Big Brother housemate said he has already adjusted to the grueling schedule of working on a soap opera. “Siguro I got welcomed sa ganun through my experience sa MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya) so it's normal na feeling na for me. Nasasanay na ako sa ganitong pagtratrabaho. I've learned na you really have to really work hard kahit puyat na kayo. You have to give your best in every take you are in,” he told Push.com.ph.

The new teen heartthrob admitted he feels lucky to be part of the love triangle in Oh My G! along with Janella Salvador and Marlo Mortel. Manolo said he has discovered a lot of new things after working with Janella. “As of now we're getting closer sa story na, na-i-involve na yung family namin sa isa't isa. The more I know her, the more I realize na sobrang seryoso niya sa work niya. Parang it's a good attitude to work hard like her talaga,” he explained.

Apart from work, Manolo admitted he also can't help but feel attracted to his pretty co-star. “For me yung most attractive feature siguro yung simplicity niya na kahit naka-normal outfit siya lumalabas pa rin yung beauty niya. So no matter what she shows up in, beautiful pa rin,” he added.

After being linked to PBB All-In housemates Nicole Baranda and Maris Racal, Manolo said he is just happy being single right now and does not even want to talk about celebrity crushes (even though he previously admitted to liking Janella and Julia Barretto). “Parang as of now I'm not thinking of having crushes anymore (laughs). I'm okay with being single kasi if your single you have more time for work, you have more time for yourself. Kasi if you have someone you have to split your time so parang now I'm already having a hard time with my schedule, paano pa kaya if I have a girlfriend?” he explained.

Manolo also shared that he has also been focused recently on learning how to drive. “Masaya ako kasi I've always wanted to start driving na. Siyempre kapag wala si dad so ako na bahala. I haven't gotten my license but I got my student permit pa lang. I practice siguro when I have free time. I didn't enroll in a driving school because our driver is a professional so he taught me.”

Aside from work, Manolo is also looking forward to becoming a student again this coming semester. “I want to try to go to college this June while working at the same time. Let's see how I do that (laughs). I applied for Entrepreneurship course at Enderun college. My former classmates, actually hindi naman sila nauna sa akin. Sumabay na rin ako kasi I took a test in DepEd so I didn't lag behind. I miss my high school friends so much because I didn't get to graduate with them. I didn't spend the fourth year with them. Before nung kakalabas pa lang ng PBB siyempre kasama ko lagi yung mga housemates kasi yung mga kaklase ko they have school pa so they're always busy. Now it's medyo balanse na. I can spend time with my classmates and the PBB housemates,” he said.

This June, Manolo's indie movie with Maris Stars Versus Me will finally be shown in theaters under Star Cinema. “It's called Stars Versus Me kasi it's actually about horoscopes and both of our characters believe in using horoscopes to find love,” he said.

When it comes to acting, Manolo said he has always admired Gerald Anderson. “Kasi kahit na he's already up there he's very humble pa rin. That's what I noticed about him. Ang dream role ko siyempre as of now yung maging bida na for teens,” he admitted.

During his free time, Manolo said he tries to focus on his family. “Of course I spend time with my family on Sundays pag free ako. I always make time for them. Actually nung Holy Week nasa bahay lang ako. Family time kami,” he said.
