This week indie smash-up brawler Paperbound is out on PS4. Paperbound is from the mind of a former Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer that combines platforming, combat, and gravity redirection in a competitive couch multiplayer setting.
Free-roaming, overhead shooter Project Root comes to both PS4 and Vita and looks pretty great! Project Root is a classic shoot’em up, faithful to its roots, made unique with modern elements with a free camera system giving a freedom to action not seen before.
Point-and-click adventure Broken Age is a beautiful, hand-animated adventure game brought to you from the creators of Grim Fandango, Costume Quest and Brutal Legend. Broken Age arrives on PS4 and PS Vita with PS Plus members getting a 30% discount.
One release that came out last Friday was Brawl from Bloober Team. Brawl is a new take on bomb-based action-arcade games. The game features dynamic gameplay and mixes it with grotesque horror-themed graphics, disturbing music and some creepy voiceovers. If you own Basement Crawl (which was released last year) you can download Brawl for free.
