CHANDIGARH- Punjab Assembly Election 2017 for 117-assembly seats are held Today 4 February Elections Starts From 8 AM at 22,615 Polling Stations. About 1.98 crore individuals will be qualified to vote in the high-stake race, the first after Modi Government’s demonetisation move, in which 1,145 candidates, including 81 ladies and transgenders are Participating in This Elections. All the political parties like Aam Aadmi Party AAP, Bhartiya Janta Party BJP, Indian National Congress INC and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and different other parties incorporating autonomous hopefuls are in Race.Demonetisation plays an important role in the polls as the people of Punjab getting ready to choose their MLA’s. The party with majority will form the government, this time it looks tough competition between the BJP+SAD, AAP along with Congress, while AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal saying that his party will achieve at least 100 seats which will be decided by the people of Punjab.
