Some of the parents said officials of the ministry and the Ghana Education Service have failed to address their concerns.
Scores of parents have stormed the Ministry of Education for delaying in posting JHS graduates to Senor High Schools.
The parents have accused authorities of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) Secretariat of refusing to post their wards to their preferred schools.
Some of the parents said officials of the ministry and the Ghana Education Service have failed to address their concerns.
The CSSPS Secretariat has promised to post students who wrote this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination into the senior high schools across the country but that has proved futile.
The Systems Administrator of the CSSPS, Kwasi Anokye explained that the delays in placing the students has been the cause of WAEC, which has delayed in submitting to it the raw scores needed for the placement exercise.

“There were some outstanding [results of] students that WAEC was working on. As I talk to you now, there are some of them that have been released to the System and to our office,” he said.
The West African Examination Council in August released the results of 268,812 candidates who sat for the May/June exams. The results of 6,812 were withheld on suspicion of exams malpractice. WAEC said it was investigating the results of those candidates, and will be released after the said investigation.

Speaking on the latest development on the matter, Mr. Anokye said they have began receiving the raw data from WAEC, pointing out that they have not yet received 100 per cent raw data.
“We are giving ourselves at least this weekend, so next week, whatever data we have we are going to release the selected students.
He said the selection and placement process is not cumbersome, saying “It’s a very short process. If we should have gotten all the data today, by tomorrow, the report would have been out”.
But Public Relations Officer of the Education Service Jonathan Bettey in a response asked the parents to exercise restraint.
According to him, all the challenges will be addressed very soon.
Meanwhile, the second batch of over 109,806 students have also been released.
