Their missions align with our philosophy and inspired us to share their work with you! The list below is not in a particular order. We believe that each of these different endeavors, be they in the realms of business, body-image, or family – support and motivate feminine power and deserve some commendatory recognition. They’re all ranked highly in our eyes!

1. Dooce – Heather B. Armstrong lives in Salt Lake City with family. She is a professional blogger, it’s what she does, and her life story is incredible. Some might call this a mom-blog but it’s all about life – and we don’t think we should sell it short. It’s always inspiring when you discover someone who’s lived hard and deep. Definitely worth a look.

2. 27 Months Without Peanutbutter - Documents the personal encounters and experiences of Maggie Close, a peace corps volunteer who has been working with teenage girls in Jordan since 2011. It’s a very simple blog, but the stories of these young women are not only awe-inspiring but also provides a healthy dose of perspective and gratitude.

3. The Every Girl - The Everygirl is an online resource for the creative and career-driven woman who wants to live her best life. The founders of Everygirl, Alaina Kaczmarski and Danielle Moss, promise to bring their readers real stories from real successful women, to ask the questions everyone wants to ask but never does, and to always, always be budget-friendly.

4. 85 Broads -  85 Broads is a global network of 30K trailblazing women who are inspired, empowered, and connected worldwide. The “founding” 85 were the women of Goldman Sachs; now they’ve expanded its membership to include women who are alumnae and students of the world’s leading colleges, universities, and graduate schools worldwide.

5. Awakening Woman – Awakening Women is a powerful community of women who meet online and in-person to support one another as they practice true feminine and spiritual awakening. Chameli Ardagh founded the community and continues to inspire women to intentionally bring peace and happiness to all beings.

6. Alisa Vitti – Alisa Vitti is the creator of Womancode, a system that helps your hormones start working for you and not against you. Her practice, FLOliving, provides personalized nutrition care for women who struggle with menstural issues, fertility challenges, and low libido.

7. About Face – About-Face Media equips women and girls with tools to understand the harmful effects media messages can have on their body. In-depth, multi-session, media-literacy and body-image programs that deepen students’ understanding of media messages and encourage action-taking. About-Face was founded by Kathy Bruin in 1995 in San Francisco.

8. The Beauty Bean – Concerned with women’s magazines obsession with weight loss and body image, Beauty Bean is devoted to inner beauty without dieting tips and tricks. DIY beauty regimens are incredible! “You are Beautiful – pass it on…”

9. BlogHer - BlogHer brings together women bloggers and publishes their material on food, family, style, sex, health, entertainment and more. It is a social publishing platform, a research hub, and a group that puts on really great in-person conferences.

10. The Body Image Project  – The Body Image Project encourages women and girls of all ages to share their experiences and feelings about their own body image perceptions. Reading through the blog posts is a good reminder that we are not alone in our personal thoughts or fears.

11. Carmen Marshall - Carmen Marshall believes that you can have time for health, wealth, and time for what matters most to you. Carmen is a gifted health coach, business mentor, trainer, speaker, and author who helps women create lives that they absolutely love.

12. Claudia Chan - Claudia Chan wants women to dream big, recognize their abilities, rid any bad habits, and plan to reach their unlimited potential in all aspects of their lives.

13. Dames Bond – For six years now, Dames Bond was been helping women connect with the resources, and marketing needed to thrive and prosper in their businesses. They describe themselves as the first, all-female, professional organization purposefully designed to connect business women with consumers and vice versa: “When Dames Bond, Dames Thrive…”

14. Eat the Damn Cake – Kate Fridkis is a writer, blogger, professional singer, positive body image advocate — and she loves to eat cake. Her posts are down-to-earth and fun to read, plus each posts include an “un-roast” which is something that Kate likes about how she looks that day.

15. Engender Health – Engender Health is a leading global women’s health organization committed to ensuring that every pregnancy is planned, every child is wanted, and every mother has the best chance at survival. Their shared stories and videos are absolutely incredible.

16. Empowering Girls & Women – Marina DelVecchio is an author and college instructor who is committed to making space for feminist discourse. Her blog covers topics ranging from sex discrimination, women in the workplace, violence against women, and women’s literature (be sure to check-out her reading list).

17. Geek Feminism – The Geek Feminism blog is a place for discussion and support for women in “geek” communities, including technology, gaming, and science communities. The blog covers feminist topics, geek topics, and everything in between.

Girl’s Gone Child – Rebecca Woolf’s GGC has been featured in the The New York Times, Time Magazine, Huffington Post, Angeleno and NPR. can also be found at Momversation.com She’s also the author of Rockabye: From Wild to Child (Seal Press, 2008). Not just any Mom-Blog – there’s fashion, politics and sparkle power, care of her three daughters (and an amazing son). Definitely worth checking out.

19. Girls Just Wanna Have Funds – Girls Just Wanna Have Funds explores money management basics, debt reduction, budgeting and other personal finance issues, specific to women.

20. Girl With Curves  – Tanesha Awasthi is a style influencer who wants to inspire the curvy community to be confident in their bodies and to have fun with fashion. Her blog, Girl with Curves, proves that style is about so much more than size.

21.  Go Kaleo — Technically a blog, but Amber Rogers has been a voice and advocate for women’s bodies and fitness in a unique and inspiring way. Her private Facebook group: Eat The Food is an inspiration. Maybe the journey to health isn’t about what we weigh but how to live the life we desire and finally understanding how life needs good fuel.

22. Happy Black Woman – Rosetta Thurman is an author, speaker, mentor, coach, and “extreme encourager”. She writes the blog, Happy Black Woman, to connect with other women with big goals, beautiful dreams, and a desire to live a life full of freedom and happiness.

23. Hello Giggles – Founded by actress/musician Zooey Deschanel, producer Sophia Rossi and writer/Internet Sensation Molly McAleer – welcome to the ultimate entertainment destination for smart, independent and creative females.

24. Hello Ladies – Written at the intersection of feminism and life, Hello Ladies discusses work, politics, parenting, news and shoes. “Hello Ladies, this site is for you.”

25. Hey Shenee – Shenee Howard works with woman entrepreneurs who want to go from having an idea for a great business to actually having a great business that makes money. She’s an expert in branding, which means she helps women do the stuff that actually brings in business.

26. Hardy Girls, Healthy Women - Hardy Girls Healthy Women is a non-profit organization with the vision of all girls and women experiencing equality, independence, and safety in their everyday lives. Their work is committed to creating a more equitable culture and to making our current society a safe place to be a girl.

27. Jade Beall – Jade Beall is a photographer who creates “medicinal photography” that helps people feel good. Her site is full of photos of women of all ages and in all different life stages being comfortable and confident in their bodies.

28. Jessica Valenti – One of the Top 100 Inspiring Women in the world by The Guardian – Jessica is the author of four books on feminism, politics and culture. Her third book, The Purity Myth: How America’s Obsession with Virginity is Hurting Young Women, won the 2010 Independent Publisher Book Award and was made into a documentary by the Media Education Foundation.

29. Jonathan Isaac Robinson – Dr. Jonathon Isaac Robinson specializes in health promotion and human behavior, with a particular interest in why people do what they do and don’t do what they don’t do. 34. She Takes On the World – Natalie MacNeil has made She Takes on the World one of the top blogs for career-minded women and women entrepreneurs. One of the reasons Natalie writes this blog is to encourage more women to take leadership roles in companies, organizations, and the government — and to change the world!

35. She’s the First – She’s the First sponsors girls’ education in developing nations helping the girls be the first in their families to graduate from secondary school. The girls are given tools for learning and for becoming the leaders who will eventually change the world for the better.

36. The Way of the Happy Woman – Sara Avant Stover is a yogini, inspirational speaker, teacher, mentor, and author of the best-selling book The Way of the Happy Woman: Living the Best Year of Your Life.

37. The Wild Sisterhood Magazine - Jen Saunders is a writer, painter, and empowerment artist who is passionate about inspiring women to love themselves, follow their hearts and change the world. 41. Already Pretty – Sally McGraw is a writer, blogger, personal style consultant, and postive body-image advocate. Sally’s blog, Already Pretty, is full of information about the latest fashion and beauty trends that are body positive and that also help you recognize your own beauty.

42. Mama Gena’s Womanly Arts – Regena Thomashauer or Mama Gena is a teacher, author, mother, and researcher who studies the nature of pleasure. Mama Gena shares what she learns about pleasure through online and in-person events with the intention of helping women maximize their power, passion, enthusiasm and creativity.

43. Project Eve – Meridith Dennes and Kim Oksenberg started Project Eve in order to encourage women in business to invest in one another. Project Eve is a progressive platform that connects working women and provides an environment for safe and supportive mentoring and networking.
