Ghansoli, one of the important markets for office spaces, is well connected to other important localities via road and rail. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, which is 30 km away from the region can be accessed in less than an hour from here. Major Road, and Thane-Belapur Road pass through the locality. Several other roads also allow for good accessibility from the locality to major business parks. The micro market is surrounded by fast growing localities like Koparkhairane, Vashi, Mahape and Kalwa. The locality has a railway station and local trains are available for Thane, Vashi and Panvel. Reliance Corporate Park is located here. The locality has a number of industries and companies.

The locality has a number of retail outlets for clothing, electronic goods, jewellery, and furniture. Reliance Fresh, D-Mart, Bata, and many other local and national brands are present here. Stationery shops, departmental stores, supermarkets, etc. are also located here. Inorbit Mall, Raghuleela, and Korum Mall are some of the malls located in close proximity to the area.
Entertainment:
Balaji Multiplex, Cinemax and few other multiplexes and theatres are present in close proximity to the area. The micro market is in close proximity to Central Park and Wonders Park.

A few hospitals, clinics and pharmacies are located in and around the locality. Ashray Hospital, Divine Hospital, and Indravati Hospital are some of the hospitals present in the locality.

Real estate:
Ghansoli was once home to the middle income and the low income groups but now the market is changing as several big ticket and high-rise projects are coming up in the locality. The locality is a protected area and falls in the CRZ zone. Hence the high rises here come with a view of mangroves and the water bodies. Since the locality is well connected to Thane, Navi Mumbai’s MIDC area and SEEPZ, and Andheri, people working in these areas prefer to live in Ghansoli.
