Rockford, Il – (ProLifeCorner.com) – 7-21-2013 – by Rockford Pro-Life Initiative –  Should “Call To Action” Be Allowed To Honor Abortion And Liturgical Abuses With A Mass?

Call To Action, a group that distorts then attacks many teachings of Jesus Christ and the Church will be holding a conference in Milwaukee on November 1-3, 2013.  Among the many workshops will be presentations attacking the Priesthood, the Authority of the Church, and the Magisterium.

They will also have presentations directly contradicting Church teaching on homosexuality, marriage, family, and divorce.  One of the most disturbing aspects of this Call To Action conference may be the screening of the radically pro-abortion film from Catholics For Choice: “Secret History of Sex, Choice and Catholics”.

This is a link that clearly shows this film is very pro-abortion: http://www.catholicsforchoice.org/secrethistory.asp

This is a link that shows the film on the Call To Action Conference schedule: http://www.cta-usa.net/index.php?r=site/page&view=saturday

The Call To Action conference schedule plans a closing Mass at 10:45 am on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Considering that this conference has numerous speakers who distort, undermine, and clearly reject the Catholic Faith should a Mass be allowed to take place at this conference?

Considering that Call To Action conference “liturgies” in the past have been filled with abuses to many to count that make the Mass look ridiculous should a Mass be allowed to take place at this conference?

Considering that many of the speakers, including the film from Catholics for Choice, will be promoting the culture of death, should a Mass be allowed to take place at this conference?

Considering that a number of speakers and participants in this conference consider themselves women Catholic clergy such as Jean Marchant “co-pastor of Spirit of Life: A Catholic Community of Justice and Joy in Weston, MA,” should a Mass be allowed to take place at this conference?

For these and many other reasons, a Mass at the location of the Call To Action Conference will not only cause grave scandal, but also has the very real chance for liturgical abuses during the Mass considering the women “priests” in attendance, a former priest who still considers himself in “active ministry”, and the fact that this conference is promoting the culture of death and rejection of many Catholic teachings.

We respectfully request Most Reverend Jerome E. Listecki Archbishop of Milwaukee that you NOT allow a Milwaukee Diocesan Priest to offer Mass at this conference and that you do NOT grant faculties for a Priest from another diocese or Religious Order to offer Mass at this conference.

When a conference is offered that attacks the Body of Christ in so many ways, including promoting the killing of children in the womb, allowing a Mass to be organized, administered, and facilitated by this same group of people could result in many abuses and will be a scandal.

This video shows countless liturgical abuses at a call to action “mass.”  Please Archbishop Listecki don’t let this happen in Milwaukee.
