Sand Fine Jewellery Limited will be officially launching Italian brand Misis into the UK market at International Jewellery London.
As the sole agent and distributor, Sand Fine Jewellery will be soft launching Misis at IJL and showcasing a carefully-edited selection of the brand’s jewellery.
Misis is a family run, costume jewellery brand from Italy. All jewellery for the brand is designed and handmade in a purpose-built factory in Viczenza. Misis is Italian for a special breed of shrimp and the entire brand is based around nature and nature’s four elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Air.
The majority of the brand’s products are silver-based, with bespoke galvanic enamelling and the use of regular and semi-precious stones.
“Misis’ collections are broad and varied, with new collections being released biannually. They are a rare blend of costume and fashion jewellery made to the highest standard whilst at the same time telling a story,” explains Sand Fine Jewellery chairman and chief executive officer Dovi Friedmann. “The formation of nature’s four elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Air into wearable, durable jewellery is an art, and the art presented is varied, detailed, and often colourful pieces. The huge success attained of more than 350 doors opened internationally, makes the UK the very natural next step for the Italian brand, looking to appeal to a plethora of diverse women.”
Misis has been worn on the red carpet and in concert by varied celebrities from Rhianna to Kate Beckinsale and Katy Perry to Miley Cyrus. Misis offers affordable luxury to the discerning woman.
Friedmann continues: “Hours were spent selecting the appropriate collections to launch in the UK, consulting with industry professionals, journalists, bloggers and retailers, with a strong desire for it to represented nationally both through strong multiple chains and local independents.”
At IJL Sand Fine Jewellery will be showing and launching the following collections: Bisanzio and Bon Ton – Fire; Reef Party and Positano – Water; Champagne and Pienza – Earth; Jungle Tiara and Africa Queen – Air.
