Alex Monroe adorns insects

The SS17 collection by Alex Monroe pays tribute to the scientific study of insects – Entomology. Monroe returned to his workbench to study and recreate his very own specimen cabinet of butterlies and beetles. In the new range, intricate bugs have been transformed into statement pieces enhanced with smoky quartz, green amethyst, tsavorite and labradorite gemstones. Pieces are available in silver, yellow gold vermeil, rose gold vermeil and black rhodium finishes.

Amulette introduces ear cuffs

Amulette is an eclectic, unique range of jewellery as individual as its wearer. Anisha Mistry launches Pollinator

Anisha Mistry of AneMi Design will launch the new Pollinator collection at Jewellery & Watch.  The range includes distinctive hand-engraved sterling silver Honeybees and Common Blue Butterflies; and is a continuation of the successful Botanical Flower collection. Using  a contemporary take on traditional engraving techniques to make handmade necklaces, bracelets and earrings, each piece begins as an original artist’s drawing by Anisha.

Aurum by Gudbjorg unveils new designs

The Cygnus collection, which Aurum by Gudbjorg will be showcasing at Jewellery & Watch, consists of a variety of items – necklaces, bracelets and earrings – of silver and gold featuring the curved shape of a swan’s neck. Cygnus is Aurum’s second collection to draw inspiration from a swan. The previous one, titled Swan, featured the wings and feathers while the focus of Cygnus is a swan’s gracefully arched neck. The brand will also release a new range called Asterias at the show, a collection inspired by the king starfish found by the coast of Iceland.

Azendi Soars

British jewellery brand Azendi will showcase Angel Wings at the Birmingham-based trade show. The new collection centres around the wing motif and offers intricate sterling silver and rose vermeil designs, adorned with brilliant-cut pave stones for sparkle. The new range represents love and guardian angels. Elsewhere fresh designs have been added to the bestselling Spirited Away collection. New pieces include a double feather design.

New for 2017, fashion jewellery brand Chrysalis has added birthstone to its personalised jewellery offering. Entitled the Lunar collection, the new range features semi-precious stones complemented with charms on an expandable bangle. After a limited showcase last winter, jewellery care company Connoisseurs will roll out its Sonic Dazzle Stik and Dazzle Drops jewellery cleaners at the trade show. Disney Couture pays homage to Minnie Mouse

Disney Couture will shine a light Minnie Mouse at Jewellery & Watch as the brand presents a fun and nostalgic collection. Pieces focus on the animated character’s infamous box, her love of poka dots and instantly recognisable ears. Available in white, yellow and rose gold plating and adorned with crystals and enamel, the range captures the cheeky characters personality in a variety of dainty and playful jewels.

Drakenberg gets personal

Swedish jewellery brand Drakenberg will introduce its new Birthstones collection for SS17. Giving the brand a completely new element for the spring season, designer duo Andrea Drakenberg and Ellen Sjölin have created a range which represents the popular birthstone trend. The collection takes inspiration from the  unique meaning of each birthstone, which dates back to ancient history. Every stone in each piece represents the twelve months and the inner qualities and strengths of the person born at that specific time of year.

Domino will use Jewellery & Watch to launch its new and much-expanded wedding ring collection, which offers retailers a wide choice across a number of different styles. As well as developing the product range, Domino has adopted continuous improvement techniques within their wedding ring cell enabling them to provide very competitive lead times. Stock items can now be delivered within 24-48 hours and special orders, across any of their wedding band offering, within 10 days. Eurjewels makes show debut

After a successful launch at IJL Eurjewels will exhibit a range of top European jewellery brands. Dutch brand Sparkling Jewels will present new pendants and a pearl range of gemstones, while Vidal & Vidal will be on show with a fresh bridal offering. The distribution company will also introduce two new brands to its portfolio – fashionable, unisex jewellery brand Hooked and sterling silver Spanish brand Macadamia.

Elements Gold gets adventurous

Exotic motifs and vivid colours, which evoke a sense of global travel and a yen for exploration, lie at the heart of the new Wanderlust range by Elements Gold which will be showcased on the Gecko stand at Jewellery & Watch. Fei Liu shoots for the stars

Fei Liu unveils a glittering sterling silver collection inspired by the beauty and movement of Shooting Stars.
