Detroit-bred duo, Moonchild & D. Allie, share their latest video, ‘Consequences’, which has surpassed 50,000 views in a month’s time. The single, ‘Consequences’, reflects on the decisions we make in life and how it effects our lives.
Ever the collaborator, D. Allie teamed up with MoonChild – a producer from Hi Hill Records, for their recent release, “Moonchild and D. Allie Have A Bright Future,” which includes ‘Consequences.’
“Specifically in the song, I discuss procrastination, relationships, unprotected sex and neglecting loved ones. However, that’s to show how our decisions make a mark on the world; whether negative or positive. And how we should be more conscious when making them.” – D. Allie
Utilizing the art of storytelling in his lyrics, D. Allie wanted the music video to showcase a visual story as well. “We wanted to tell this story through the eyes of one location. Kind of a if-these-walls-could-talk-what-would-they-say sort of vibe,” he says.
