Stanton DJ, a part of the Gibson Pro Audio Division, will bring three-time Grammy Award winner and hip-hop legend DJ Premier to DJ Times magazine’s DJ Expo 2013, which will take place on August 12-15 in Atlantic City, NJ. DJ Premier will spin at Stanton’s booth (#500) on Tuesday, August 13 at 3:30 PM, and DJ Times’ editor Jim Tremayne will conduct a DJ Expo Keynote Q&A with DJ Premier on August 13 at 2 PM in Diamond Room D of the Trump Taj Mahal. Additional appearances throughout the show by Stanton artists include Biz Markie, DJ Miss Joy and DJ Seraphin.

DJ Premier, producer and original member of the legendary hip-hop duo Gang Starr, has an incredible resume of production credits after having worked with prolific artists such as Big Daddy Kane, Common, Fat Joe, Game, Jay-Z, Kanye West, KRS-One, Ludacris, Mos Def, Rakim, Snoop Dogg, The Notorious B.I.G., Xzibit, Limp Bizkit, Busta Rhymes, Christina Aguilera and more. Upcoming projects include a full album for the rapper Nas and a beat for Immortal Technique’s new album. DJ Premier has also stated that he is working with Eminem on his next album.

Marcel Theo Hall, better known by his stage name Biz Markie, is a rapper, producer, beat-boxer, comedian, TV personality and hip-hop artist. Markie, along with DJ Miss Joy—a resident DJ at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas—and DJ Serafin—a critically acclaimed remixer who has worked with Jordin Sparks and Britney Spears—will all be performing at Stanton’s DJ Expo 2013 booth, #500, located in the exhibit hall of the Trump Taj Mahal.
