Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Master Sales Trainer to support our teams in New Jersey and New York.

This is a newly created position and will be a key role in our rapidly growing Organization.  It has high visibility, mission critical responsibilities and an outstanding career potential for the right individual.

Mission

-          Champion the Verengo Vision, Mission & Values throughout the Organization

-          Champion a culture of Learning and Business Education throughout the Organization

-          Lead the Sales Development programs for the New Jersey and New York Sales Teams

-          Lead the Vision, Mission & Values Training; Sales Training, New Hire Training and People Development programs for the New Jersey and New York Sales Teams

-          Lead Verengo Solar Academy for the NJ/NY Sales Teams

-          Lead Performance Measurement & Goal Setting Programs

-          Transform learning into performance via 1-TO-MANY and 1-ON-1 basis

-          Drive continual process improvement

-          Manage and Direct this function against ROI sales targets, as defined, to ensure its profitability

Essential Job Functions

Reports To: Senior Training Director

Training Delivery and Coaching

-          Effectively present and translate learning into performance within a 1:MANY and a 1:1 environment.

-          Raise the level of New Hire 30-60-90 Day Performance across prescribed KPI’s

-          Achieve Kirkpatrick Level 5 metrics for each training program launched.

-          Continually reinforce learning across the entire value chain and across the company.

-          Identify and accelerate Best Practices across multiple functions

-          Adapt people, process and systems to maximize results

-          Deliver feedback and coaching to Sales Directors & Managers regarding their Sales Reps via classroom observation and on the job evaluations

-          Deliver feedback and coaching to Sales Reps via performance monitoring and workshop training courses on an ongoing basis

Content Creation and Management

-          Work with the Director, Curriculum and Content Development to help write and research Content Creation Programs as required

-          Utilize key principles within the ADDIE model to support Content Development Programs as required on design web-based, computer-based and instructor-led training and communication templates and PowerPoint Presentations

Consolidate and organize current curriculum and content to produce a world-class training library that includes, at a minimum:

Verengo Vision, Mission & Values Training

New Hire Training and Immersion

Verengo Solar Academy

SalesOperations Training

Management Training Program

Organization and Time Management Training

Ensure 100% certification of all new hires within prescribed timeframes.

-          Independently research and partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to translate key learning concepts effectively to the appropriate audience by maximizing Adult Learning Principles and optimizing the Learning Value Chain

Quality Control

-          Work with the Sales Directors & Managers to establish an ongoing Quality Monitoring and Performance Measurement system

-          Design the system to be Data Driven to maximize Lead Setting Performance Improvement via SalesProcess Improvements and Personal Coaching

-          Monetize this Quality Control effort to provide the Organization with ROI Data relative to Performance Improvement measurements and reporting

Additional Responsibilities

-          Support the team members’ ad-hoc administrative requests with a positive “can do” attitude

-          Providing first class training in all subject matters required

-          Take the initiative to problem-solve and creatively troubleshoot issues

-          Proactively partner with cross-functional team members to achieve mutual objectives

-          Attend and participate in company and departmental meetings

-          Plan, arrange for, and host meetings and/or other events

-          Enroll and track attendance at meetings and events

-          Set-up, maintain, and update files

-          Respond to and follow up on phone calls, emails, and other correspondence respectfully, effectively, and with a high sense of urgency

-          Take initiative to problem-solve and creatively troubleshoot issues

-          Poise this role for growth into a Supervising Role in the future as the Company grows

-          Other actions and assignments as appropriate

-          Extensive travel will be required [65%-85%]

-          Occasional travel to other Sales Regions/Territories will be required

Experience and Education

-          Bachelor’s Degree Required.  MBA Preferred

-          Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, Business Development and/or Sales Training.  7 – 10 yrs. Preferred

-          Preference given to candidates with:

In-Home Sales/Training

-          Experience utilizing and administering Learning Management (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)

-          Extensive knowledge and expertise of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint Required

-          Knowledge and expertise of Content Authoring, Digital Imaging, Digital Content Management or other related Software preferred

-          Must be an experienced and competent writer and communicator

-          Must be excellent at presenting in front of groups

-          Must have experience leading successful Outcome Based Business Education Programs

Compensation Plan

-          Base Salary:  DOE + Performance Based Incentives
