"The main element in these cards are the lovely Christmas trees from the “Snow Santa” Adhesive Rub-Ons set. I treated the patterned paper underneath them with gesso, so it has a subtle pattern but not too heavy to overpower the trees. I also used snowflakes from the same set adhered on top of a transparency and embossed with white embossing powder, as my embellishments. I also used the Jolly foil set to add some sparkle to the edges of the cards. First, I treated the edge of the paper with the Planner Glue Pen and then added the foil on top. This way I got a lovely weathered, random look to the edge. The greetings in the cards reflect what I hope for the Holiday season and onward – happy, joyful holidays and peace to the world." ~ Riikka Kovasin

"At least to me, packaging gifts is as heartwarming as buying or making them. It’s fun to make the presents pretty and cute. For these two, I first made the wrapping paper myself, then decorated the presents with some wooden alpha and doilies. The wrapping paper is done using Watercolor Confections and Iron Orchid décor stamps. I used regular printing paper as my base and after stamping, I crumbled the paper for a fun, textured effect." ~ Riikka Kovasin

"This year, I'll be gifting some gift cards to some family/friends. I decided to slide the card inside some vellum envelopes, and attached a fussy-cut, watercolor floral image to the front of the envelope. I created my envelopes using IOD Oil Pastels, my spray bottle, some water, and one of the stamps from the Sweet Peppermint Collection! First, I colored the Oil Pastel colors onto the stamp, spritzed it with some water, and pressed down on my white watercolor paper. Voila! Each spray made three varying images, from darker to lighter colors. Then I cut around each image, stamped 'warm wishes', and they are done! Try using your Prima Pastels with water -- I love the soft watercolor effects! I now have eight watercolor floral images ready to go!" ~ Bonita Rose

"Snow really makes my Christmas feel like Christmas. It’s a shame that, nowadays, it’s kind of a rarity here in Southern Finland. Luckily, when it comes to projects, snow can be added easily. The easiest way is to add some Snowflake Paste to them! In this card, I used not only the paste, but quite a few other Finnabair goodies as well. "Hello sweeties!! It isn't December yet...but it is time for Christmas projects!!! I found this lantern in a store, and I immediately thought of altering it! I opened the top, removed the decorations in it, but kept the lantern, the lights and music system. I used a lot of gorgeous goodies, flowers and chipboard from the amazing Sweet Peppermint Collection and Glass Beads and Glitters from Finnabair! I embossed the little, sweet gloves from the Sweet Peppermint Cling Stamp with gold embossing powder. I also made a little video to show the lantern in action." ~ Nathalie Dalibard
