"The Prima Product Pick is an amazing way to try out new and different color palettes. For my layout here, I applied gesso on my page to break the busy pattern. I then used a mix of Watercolor Confections Pastel Dreams and Pink Crocus Color Bloom spray to add color to the background. "What a lovely sketch to work with this month! This layout came together very quickly for me, I think that is what makes a good sketch work so well!! I chose to create something beachy for this BAP using lots of gorgeous tones. The Fabric Pack is perfect for mixed-media touches and added shabbiness. I have blended Color Bloom sprays, Empress Gold and Vintage Coal, into my background, and on my shells, and finished off with some Opal Magic in Rose-Gold for added shine. "I loved the diagonal design in the sketch. Instead of doing it just like the sketch, I used the diagonal as a jumping off spot. I also mimicked some of the placement in the sketch, but added my own spin. The Sweet Peppermint collection is adorable, so I decide to go with the sweet and cute look on my layout.
