Sculpture Mediums Defined: Art Medium with great versatility on a variety of porous surfaces. Creates a permanent and resistant surface perfect for altering and mixed media techniques. Allows for dimensional sculpturing and 3D effects for home decor. Clear or Beige Color, water based and non-toxic. Available in beige or clear, this medium will help you form the most beautiful dimension with fabric!

How to use:

Apply a generous amount of Sculpture Medium onto  fabric, paper, or chipboard elements with a big brush to make sure it will soak through the material.

For bigger pieces of fabric simply pour the Sculpture Medium into container and let fabric soak for a moment. If the medium is too thick you can add a bit of water to make it easier to work with.

Squeeze off the Medium and wrap the fabric in the desired shape and leave to dry – drying time depends on the weather conditions, size of the project, and amount of the Sculpture Medium used.

It is possible to slightly speed up the drying process using a hairdryer or heating gun, but natural drying will give better results.

When dry all the elements can be painted, decorated, or glued together using Art Basics range of products.

Alterable Flowers Defined: Hello, Beautiful! Gorgeous, natural-colored flowers; perfect as-is, or ready to be altered. It's your choice! Alterable flowers perfect for altering, painting, spraying and much more. Use them with Finnabair Pixie Dust Sprays, Art Alchemy Paints and more.

How To Use: Use straight out of the package for a beautiful, natural floral addition to your project. Or color with Art Alchemy paints, Pixie Dust Sprays, or any other art medium of you choice. Dry and add to project.

"I love altering items and books are one of my all-time favourites, so when I could finally put my hands on my new Art Extravagance Rust Paste I just had to use it on one of my books, waiting on the shelf for a mixed-media makeover."

"I started the whole process priming the cover with Art Basics Heavy Black Gesso and, next, adding old, weathered texture using Art Extravagance -White Crackle Paste. The next layers were my new, beautifully shiny Art Alchemy paints. For this project I used 3 colors from the Metallique Line: Black Berry, Steampunk Copper, and Brass Hardware.  I wanted colors to correspond with the natural shades of rust."

"Next, using a piece of chipboard, some burlap, lace, Mechanical numbers, and a small wooden panel, I started building layers which were covered with my Rust Pastes. I used different proportions of each color on each panel. To make it all look more natural and help the layers stand out a bit."

Tip for you: for the best effects you can simply dab one or two colors of Rust Paste on the surface with a stiff brush or sponge; let it dry, and then add finishing touches with the last color.

"Because I wanted to make my rust effect look as natural as possible, I added some Art Stones on the edges of the chipboard panel. When the Rust Pastes were still wet, I sprinkled some Art Ingredients Mica Powder - Copper and Rust in the chosen parts of my composition. That was my way to add some extra metallic sparkle to quite matte finish of the Rust Paste.

My last step was decorating the top panel with a Mechanical pocket watch which I filled with one of the biggest pebbles glued on the vintage image, some rusty screw heads and finally - sprinkling some Mica Flakes and Micro Beads which were glued down with Art Basics Soft Gloss Gel. After all the work my book looked completely different and I have to say I'm really pleased with the results!" ~ Anna Dabrowska aka Finnabair http://tworzysko.blogspot.com/

"I found a key that was just begging to be made into what looked like a rusty treasure from years past. I used all three pastes, adding them with a brush, and letting the edges blend together. When dry, you can add some dry brushing with Black Gesso."

"Now for the fun NEW products! I began by crumpling strips of canvas, crinoline and jute twine, and then soaking them in sculpture medium. Form them into an arrangement for your base, and then let them dry. Using a 5x5 inch canvas board, I spread the White Sand Texture Paste on with a Texture Brush, creating a pattern. The now dry base was pressed into the texture paste along with lots of Art Stones. This was then dried completely."

"I mixed Opal Magic paints with Heavy Black Gesso and painted in spots on the base. The Grungy Butterflies have 3 different patinas. I used the Rust Paste primarily on the rusty one, and Black Gesso with Metalliques on the silver one. The Mechanicals and found objects were glued on with Heavy Body Gel and painted with Metalliques Gold Rush and Rich Turquoise."

"The Mica Powder+ Water Sprays were used to create shimmer and color. I think the Black Cherry spray created the best contrast at the end with the rich purple/red color." ~ Linda M. Cain http://cain81art.blogspot.ie/

"I sewed the edges of the paper bag to make it stiffer.  Next I applied a thin layer of Clear Gesso, using the awesome silicone brush, and let it dry. I grabbed my new Finnabair´s Art Alchemy acrylics and did some amazing alchemy. :) I went for Metalliques: Rusty Red, Ancient Coin, Brass Hardware, and Black Berry. The shades of colors are super yummy."

"Then I decided to try out my old trick of "baking" them. I applied the acrylics with a palette knife in various layers to form a huge circle. Now comes the alchemy part: each layer of the acrylics was dried with a heat gun, holding it very close to the paper (2cm). A superb texture appeared soon. Tiny, small, big, regular, and irregular bubbles came up. So impressive!

"Then I did some random stamping with Archival ink and Finnabair´s background stamps. I also made some doodling and splashes. I glued on a bit of brass wire, the vintage girls and metal wings using Soft Matte Gel. A bit of washi tape, a tiny gem stone and the fun work is done." ~ Denisa Gryczova http://www.scrapholka.

"I've made a wooden photo block. The background texture has been created using Finnabair White Sand Texture Paste. I’ve painted this background using some of the beautiful new Finnabair Art Alchemy Acrylic Paints in new release colours of Deep Water, Wild Fuchsia and Pink Blush."

"I have also added texture and dimension with strips of fabric coated with new Art Extravagance Clear Sculpture Medium. You can fold, bend, scrunch, mould, pleat or sculpt fabric any way you want after coating it with this medium. It's very easy to use. Finishing touches include a Grungy Butterfly and some Bolts from the new Mechanicals Range, painted with new Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint called Brass Hardware."

"To achieve this look coat fabric strips with Clear Sculpture Medium and push into folds to dry. They will hold whatever shape you push or mould them into. (photo: gayle_step3)" ~ Gayle Price http://blissandgesso.blogspot.

"I love to give a new life to discarded objects and reshape broken pieces into something interesting. This time I used crushed china figurines that I put together and a bottle cap along with a pair of wings."

"The best glue I can recommend is 3D Gel which holds everything perfectly. To fill the blank areas between all the elements I worked with Sculpture Medium. To even the surface I covered the whole figurine with Black Gesso and added a pinch of Art Stones at the base."

"Afterwards, I painted the statue with Rust Pastes. They imitate real rust both in colours and structure."

"To highlight the raised areas and add some patina effect, I used brass and blue brush strokes from the new range of Alchemy Paints. The creature was born again and stands tall with its wings spread wide." ~ Olga Siedlecka
