September has sneaked up on us! Those lazy summer days are a fond memory as school has kicked back in session and the air is starting to turn a bit crisper! Hopefully the fall season will allow a bit more time to scrapbook and play with your Prima products! If so we welcome you to join us each month for our sketch and palette contests! The BAP sketch is absolutely gorgeous (and was designed by a brand-new sketcher), while our PPP is filled with the amazing textures and colors with a few new Prima release sprinkled in!

Love this beauty? We are excited to present another new sketch designer to you! Keren Tamir designed this gorgeous page showcasing lots of white space, botanical butterflies, artsy drips, and fun background stamping. Doesn't this one look like a FUN one to play along with? We welcome you to join in and submit any Prima-based project by the last day of the month for your chance to be featured on our blog, AND win a fabulous prize! (Click on the blue "inlinkz" button below to enter.)

Along with our challenges each month we also introduce our FABULOUS Guest Designer! For September we have the gorgeous Olga Heldwein!

Hello all Prima Fans! I'm Olga. I'm from Poland, but currently I live with my boys and crazy cats in Berlin. I love scrapbooking and mixed-media arts. Every evening I try to do something creative. I like to share my passion, so I often do some videos and workshops. Most are mixed-media techniques. I like the messy style...with lots of splatters and metal embellishments.

I'm so excited to be Prima's Guest Designer , and I hope you will like the inspirations that I prepared for this! :)  I don't like to waste things, so I often make some altered arts, or use everyday "trash" in my works. Saving things and giving them a brand-new look is the thing I like the most.

Isn't this gorgeous? Olga's layout is made with August's Special Delivery kit (there are only a FEW left so grab it now before it's gone!) The colors and products work perfectly to help you create a masterpiece like this! Olga even has a video of the layout for you. (now, how awesome is that?!?)

Of course we have a few more amazing projects to show you!

What if a sketch is not really "your" style? Well, Maiko certainly felt that way, but she pushed herself and look at the beautiful layout she created! "This is not my style, but I love it in the end. I had a fun time using color bloom and modeling paste! I imaged my thought in this: "Every cloud has a silver lining. Believe in myself...my dream will come true!" ~Maiko

Olga's frame is simply GORGEOUS! Let's see what inspired her! "Warm autumn colors are so nice to work with. I altered the deep photo frame with Prima goodies and add a little bit of color from Color Bloom sprays." ~Olga

Wendy's project is just breath-taking! "I have a fondness for old books and was inspired to use one to develop my project with the Sep PPP color palette.  I carefully chose and found the perfect book that fit into the theme of the PPP - nature, love, landscapes, and the most beautiful text of love and sweet ramblings.  I wanted to capture the earthy and autumn tones of the PPP so decided to title my mini-book, ‘Fall Ramblings’.  The sweet little fox in the picture of the PPP inspired the metal embellishment of a sleeping fox I used on one of my pages.  The softness of the fox fur inspired the use of the feathers throughout my book.  The old books in the images inspired the ephemera used on the cover of my mini book as well as the pages of book text throughout my mini.  How about the tube of lipstick in one of the images?  I used this image as inspiration for the inked lips stamp that ‘kissed’ the book text paper." ~Wendy

What a sweet palette for a new baby boy! Kelly's layout showcases so many FUN elements while keeping the focus on her handsome photo!"What a perfect palette for this photo! My favorite part about working with a color palette is first choosing my background paper, then building up my mixed media background by adding and blending all of the colors from the palette..layering Color Blooms, chalk edgers, and Art Basics until it all works just right. Then I choose a handful of embellishments to match - so easy!" ~Kelly
