Scorpios get a bad rap: We’re often seen as calculating, vindictive and dark — and very, very lustful.
Of course, a lot of that is true. But there’s more to us than the weird, occasionally creepy stuff. We’re also resilient and ambitious, like Pretty Little Liars actress Troian Bellisario. And when you go through life being this deep, clever, controlling and sexy, well, you learn a few things. Here are things every Scorp on the planet knows. (You’re lucky we’re sharing them with you, because Scorpios are notoriously secretive!)

1. Only suckers kiss and tell.

Scorpios are uninhibited in bed, but don’t expect to hear about their exploits. They never kiss and tell, and they’re so intimidating to their partners that they likely will never spill either.
2. Scorpios always win.

Seriously. If a Scorpio really wants something, whether it’s a flawless victory in Mortal Kombat or the last dress on the rack, she will get it. Their determination and smarts will make sure of it.
3. Scorpios can always get laid.

The Scorpio libido is nothing short of legendary. Combine that with their magnetism, and, well, only the worthiest distractions (and things like making rent, showering and food) can get them out of bed.
4. Red is a power color …

Scorpios thrive on getting you back, so cross them at your own risk. You won’t win. (We covered this already!)
7. Feeling things so intensely can be dangerous.
Not just for Scorpios, but for anyone in their path who may cross them. If a Scorpio is focused on a goal and someone gets in the way, that person may be in grave danger. If you don’t believe us, take a gander at Charles Manson’s birth chart.
8. Scorpios are loyal, possessive, protective and obsessive.

Scorpios are masters at obsession. They obsess over obsession. Sometimes that obsession is with a person, sometimes it’s with a substance (heroin, chocolate, it’s all the same to us), sometimes it’s with work — just know that when a Scorpio fixates on anything or anyone, there’s no letting up. And know that if you’re with a Scorpio and anyone tries to hurt you, the offender will be destroyed.
9. Scorpios know the story before you tell it to them.

Scorpios are masters at investigation. If you’re hiding something from a Scorpio, she will find out. We always know when you’re lying, though we may not say so right away. Sometimes we’d rather see how far you’re willing to take a story. Then we’ll use that against you later, should we feel like ever talking to you again. (And we already explained that you won’t like us when we’re angry.)
10. Scorpios may not always tell you the whole story.

Scorpios often keep their private selves hidden until they’re very comfortable with you. That could be tomorrow or it could be never, but don’t expect to find out any of their secrets.
11. There’s beauty in complexity.

Fellow Scorpio, Katy Perry, understands that being complicated isn’t a bad thing. Scorpios feel deeply and adapt to their surroundings, so they can be extroverted, introverted, joyous, miserable, apathetic and, yes, obsessed, all at the same time. Don’t question it, just embrace it.
