The Canadian International School (CIS) Bangalore is proud to announce its Scholarship program for high achieving students to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) - 2014. CIS seeks to grant one – 100% scholarship and up to five - 50% scholarships to new applicants to Grade 11 (IB 1). The last date for submission of applications is Friday, 14th February 2014. Scholarship selection tests will be held at the CIS campus, Yelahanka, at 9:00 am on Saturday, 22nd February 2014. Application forms can be downloaded from www.canadianinternationalschool.com .

Applications can be couriered to the school along with the necessary documents or scanned and mailed as attachments to - scholarships@cisb.org.in . Applications will initially be screened for eligibility. Eligible candidates will be notified by Monday, 17th February and will then be required to appear for a written test in English, Mathematics, and any one Science of the applicant’s choice, at 9:00am on Saturday, 22nd February 2014.              

Candidates must have a minimum 80% in the previous grade or equivalent of 6 As & 2 Bs in IGCSE. Selection factors will also be based on statement of need, evidence of academic excellence, leadership qualities, significant artistic or athletic achievement, civic involvement/volunteerism, engagement in school activities etc.
