Sydney – August 1, 2016 – The 2016 ANZ Employee Engagement Awards in association with Reward Gateway (www.ee-awards.com) officially launch today across Australia & New Zealand.

The Employee Engagement Awards (EE Awards), supported by Reward Gateway in ANZ, represents the game changers, the forward thinking businesses that strive to do things differently and put their workforce at the heart of their operation.

In a competitive labour market, businesses have to create an engaging and rewarding working environment. The EE Awards celebrate the very best in Employee Engagement that businesses of all sizes in Australia and New Zealand have to offer.

Recognition the industry deserves
Matt Manners, founder of The EE Awards, said: “Having previously lived and worked in Australia, I know how important Employee Engagement is to this marketplace. It brings me great joy to bring the EE Awards to Australia and New Zealand.

“Any organisation that wants to be seen to be a leader in employee engagement should enter the Awards and attend the Conference. It is the perfect opportunity to showcase excellence and learn something new – all in one day. As a result 16th November is a red letter day for employee engagement professionals.”

Tracy Mellor Reward Gateway’s Group People Director and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, said: “ Reward Gateway is the world’s leading employee engagement platform and our mission is to make the world a happier place to work – so I’m really excited to be involved in the inaugural EE Awards in the southern hemisphere.”

Categories
In our first year we have one category in Australia & New Zealand that offers the chance for up to 25 companies to be profiled as leaders in Employee Engagement: The Employee Engagement Company of the Year. There will be one overall winner but a further 24 will be listed in alphabetical order.

Entries will follow a case study format, so entrants can clearly outline to our panel of independent judges what they have achieved over the past 18 months. This award will go to the organisation that demonstrates the most compelling and holistic approach to their strategy for engaging their workforce. The winning business will provide evidence that they’ve utilised multiple opportunities for employees to engage with their company and become more fulfilled in their work. Judges will be looking for varied engagement methods and the metrics used to measure the return on investment.

We must stress that we welcome entries from companies of all shapes and sizes. We are looking for how you made the experience better and how you positively impacted your staff – whether that was for 10 or 10,000 employees.
