After a successful spring semester, The Divorce School is returning for a second semester this fall. Starting on October 1, brand-new videos and podcasts will be available along with previous favorites.
Introducing Hon. Michele F. Lowrance (Ret.) as the Dean of The Divorce School
The Divorce School is excited to have Hon. Michele F. Lowrance (Ret.) as the Dean. With more than four decades of experience as a family lawyer and judge, Judge Lowrance now applies her unique problem-solving abilities to mediating family law issues. A child of divorce and divorced herself, she brings a personal perspective to her Divorce School sessions. “I am thrilled and honored to be the Dean of The Divorce School. I look forward to contributing to the school’s mission of helping people make better choices during their divorce,” said Lowrance.

Mid- to High-Net-Worth Divorce: Know Your Options in Georgia
In Georgia, couples can get divorced through private mediation or in court with a judge or jury. Emily Brenner – a trial and family lawyer, mediator, and nationally certified psychologist – discusses the pros and cons of these options for couples with a mid to high net worth as well as how to prepare for divorce.
The Advantages of Collaborative Law
Vera Bergermann, the managing attorney of Bergermann Law Firm in Florida, outlines this alternative option couples have for settling their case.
