In a continuing effort to educate people about overcoming infertility, physician experts from Shady Grove Fertility will engage with individuals and couples through online webinars, live community Glow events, and in-person seminars throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Rockville, MD (PRWEB) November 04, 2016

Shady Grove Fertility, the largest fertility center in the nation, celebrating 25 years and more than 40,000 babies born—continues to play an active role in educating the community about overcoming infertility. The practice will be opening its doors in all four regions it serves—Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. —throughout the month of November and beyond as part of its ongoing patient education series. These online and in-person events provide attendees with the opportunity to learn the latest information about infertility. Each event concludes with a question and answer session providing attendees with the opportunity to engage either in-person or virtually with a physician expert with the goal in mind to make the events as personal and informative for all attendees.

Shady Grove Fertility’s patient education program aims to provide attendees with the appropriate tools and resources so that they feel empowered to take the most important first step: scheduling an appointment for an initial consultation.

Jason Bromer, M.D., of Shady Grove Fertility’s Frederick, MD office will be hosting a Fertility Q&A webinar on Thursday, November 10 at 12:00 p.m. The event is a unique opportunity for attendees to ask Dr. Bromer questions about infertility, from fertility health, diagnosing infertility, treatment options, and treatment success. “Our patient education events are so valuable because many individuals and couples are unsure where to begin and what options are available to them. Attending an event online or in-person provides attendees with the information they need to move forward,” says Dr. Bromer.

At Shady Grove Fertility’s in-person events, attendees will learn when is the appropriate time to see help from a specialist, how infertility is diagnosed, exclusive financial programs, effective treatments, and success rates. The in-person events are a unique opportunity for attendees to speak with a Shady Grove Fertility physician expert in an intimate setting where they can get the answers they need and gain confidence to take the next step in building their family with Shady Grove Fertility.

“The core mission of our practice is to provide patients with the most comprehensive and efficient care possible to address both the medical and emotional aspects of infertility. It’s one of the many reasons patients entrust us with their care because we are committed to addressing and supporting ’the whole patient,'" says Anitha Nair, M.D., who will be hosting an in-person event at Shady Grove Fertility’s newest NoVA location in Arlington, VA on Thursday, November 15, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

For individuals who enjoy using an app to learn about their fertility, Shady Grove Fertility has partnered with the fertility app, Glow, in an effort to educate the thousands of active app users about their personal fertility health, reproductive options, and the infertility treatment process.

In November, SGF’s weekly ask-the-expert Q&A forum on Glow will cover topics such as dispelling common fertility myths and types of fertility treatment options. Stephen Greenhouse, M.D., of Shady Grove Fertility’s Fair Oaks and Haymarket, VA offices will be hosting the Q&A “Types of Fertility Treatment Options” on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 12:00 p.m.

With a number of recent media stories circulating about the effectiveness of natural cycle in-vitro fertilization (IVF) vs. stimulated in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and a recent study presented by Shady Grove Fertility at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s 2016 Scientific Congress & Expo., Dr. Greenhouse will be answering audience questions about the medical differences in treatment for natural cycle IVF and stimulated IVF and the difference in success rates associated with each treatment type.
