Shady Grove Fertility continues to provide increased access to infertility treatment with the addition of two new female reproductive endocrinologists, a new reproductive urologist, two additional locations, and increased male fertility services.

Rockville, MD (PRWEB) November 02, 2015

This fall, Shady Grove Fertility will welcome two new female reproductive endocrinologists and one full-time reproductive urologist to the practice, broadening the array of services offered to couples who are seeking help to overcome infertility. With the addition of an in-house reproductive urologist, patients will have easier, more convenient access to a suite of male infertility services from a highly regarded board-certified urologist and male fertility specialist—services that previously required a referral to a urologist outside of the practice. Male factor infertility accounts for up to 50 percent of all infertility cases.

In addition, Shady Grove Fertility has expanded its services to a new market in the city of Fredericksburg, VA, and neighboring Spotsylvania County, as well as continues to accept new patients in Delaware County’s newest location in Chadds Ford, PA.

Andrea E. Reh, M.D., has started accepting new patients in the brand new Fredericksburg, VA, office. Dr. Reh graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then earned her medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Reh completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Reh is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Dr. Reh has published and spoken nationally on a variety of topics related to infertility, and has been the recipient of several distinguished awards throughout her career. She is currently an assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the Virginia Commonwealth University and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Lauren Roth, M.D., will be joining Melissa Esposito, M.D., in Shady Grove Fertility’s Harrisburg, PA, office and Jason Bromer, M.D., in the Frederick, MD, office, in November 2015. Dr. Roth earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She then completed both her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Denver in Colorado. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

During her residency, Dr. Roth received several teaching awards and served as chief resident. During her fellowship and time as faculty at the University of Colorado, she presented research at multiple national meetings and received three national research awards. She has published research on a range of fertility topics including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and the impact of weight on reproductive hormones.

Shady Grove Fertility also welcomes its first full-time reproductive urologist to the team. Paul R. Shin M.D., is a board certified urologist with extensive expertise in treating male factor infertility who had previously been working with Shady Grove Fertility on a referral basis. For the entire Shady Grove Fertility referring physician community, Dr. Shin is available for physician to physician consultation. As well, he is available for physician to patient consultation and treatment and has already started seeing patients in Shady Grove Fertility’s Rockville, MD, Washington, D.C.—K Street, Frederick, MD, Fair Oaks, VA, and Woodbridge, VA, offices.

“I’m excited to join the Shady Grove Fertility team full time and work alongside such highly-regarded physicians who show a tremendous commitment to quality and have an indisputable track record of success. Expanding the services we can offer, treating the whole couple, and making access to care more convenient just makes sense and supports our vision as a practice. The uncompromising drive to do the best for each couple trying to build their family is at the central core of what we do, and every day I am professionally rejuvenated,” said Dr. Shin.

Dr. Shin received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. He completed his residency in urology at the University of Virginia before completing his fellowship in male infertility at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s Glickman Urological Institute. Dr. Shin has held many leadership positions in the male infertility and urology community and many honors through the years, including being named a Washingtonian Top Doc in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015.

“With the new growth of Shady Grove Fertility comes continued responsibility to remain true to our purpose, vision, and values. We fully recognize that more important than size is quality and value and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. Our continued growth as a practice enhances our ability to provide exceptional care to our patients, helping them achieve their dreams of building a family,” said Shady Grove Fertility Medical Director, Eric A. Widra, M.D.
