The 2015 meeting of the Radiologic Society of North America will include seven courses developed in conjunction with the Radiology Business Management Association and the other 10 Associated Sciences Consortium working group member associations.

As part of the Associated Sciences Consortium work group of the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA), the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) assists in the development of courses of interest to its members as well as RSNA annual meeting registrants. This year, the RSNA annual meeting in Chicago will include seven 90-minute courses sponsored by the Associated Sciences Consortium.
The courses are designed to cover topics of interest to consortium members and RSNA annual meeting registrants. They include:

2. Developing the Hybrid Technologist in U.S. and Canada
3. Economics in Imaging/Business Intelligence
4. Global Health
5. Got Smart Data? Trailblazing the Path from Insights to Actions in Radiology
6. Hot Topics in MR Safety
7. Radiation Safety and Dose Optimization
8. The Emperor’s Wearing a Speedo! Clinical Challenges with Electronic Health Records
“We are living in a time of extraordinary change in the healthcare marketplace overall and in radiology in particular,’ said Patricia A. Early online registration for the courses ends Nov. 6. Visit rsna.org/register to register. On-site registration begins at noon on Saturday, November 29 at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago. This year’s RSNA conference will run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 4. However, the Associated Sciences Consortium courses are only on Monday, Nov. 30, and Tuesday, Dec. 1.
The Associated Sciences Consortium workgroup was formed in 1980. The 10 other current Associated Sciences Consortium members are:
